Our family has had a truly wonderful experience at Richard J. Lee Elementary. What makes this school special isnt just the academics, its the people. The teachers, staff, and families create an environment that feels welcoming, supportive, and focused on helping every child succeed.
One of the biggest strengths of this school is the leadership. The principal and the entire administrative team do an incredible job creating a culture that is both very focused on learning and full of energy and fun. They clearly care about the students and work hard to make the school a place where kids are excited to come every day.
The school also has a house system where students belong to one of five houses: Red, Purple, Green, Blue, or Yellow. This creates a fun sense of belonging and friendly competition across grade levels. Kids get excited about earning points for their houses and supporting one another. Its a great way to build school spirit and encourage positive behavior.
The community here is fantastic. Parents are very involved and supportive of the school. Through the PTO and school events throughout the year, families get many opportunities to connect and build relationships. Theres a real sense that everyone is working together to create a positive environment for the students.
Inside the classroom, the teachers are dedicated and thoughtful. They work hard to engage students and create structured environments where kids can grow academically while also building confidence and social skills. Communication with parents has also been very helpful, which makes it easier to stay involved in our childrens learning.
Overall, Richard J. Lee Elementary feels like more than just a school. It feels like a community where kids are supported, families are welcomed, and learning is made meaningful and fun. We feel very grateful to be part of it.

The school is only bothered about the reputation. Lot of bully happen in the school and students are being stopped from complaining as it might hinder the reputation of the school. Teachers do not reply to emails or when messages are sent on parents square app. Whne requested for an appointment they are available for the next year.

Our kid moved from a nearby public school to R.J.Lee. He's been going to this school from the past two and a half years. So far, it's been a wonderful experience. Teachers, administration and nurses have been wonderful.

The infrastructure and campus of the school is great. However, the administration uses cornering, scare tactics and excessively harsh punishments. These are 11 or lesser age kids, still in their formative years. This behavior from the administration has impacted my child in such a way that she is having to see a therapist to work through the trauma. School counseling is not helpful at all. In addition, bullying among students and false allegations are rampant and I have seen the school take sides based on politics multiple times. It would be best to avoid this school, in order for the child to not experience trauma.
