School counselors don’t do anything to help students. Students and parents have to beg to get their attention and time. If you are a new student they will never guide you even though you miss important test to attend due to their negligence they don’t care. I will never recommend anyone .

Our students have experienced home school, private school, and have attended public schools in Fairfield County CT, the Chicago suburbs, and Rockwall ISD without question HSA teachers have been the most skilled instructors we have encountered.

Diversity is championed here and students learn to respect other cultures. Project based learning fosters advanced communication skills. Students have to "work it out" and arrive at solutions as a team.

Discipline issues are handled swiftly and academics are rigorous. The expectation is 100% college acceptance for all high school graduates, many of which will attend top colleges. Mr. Teegarden is the best guidance counselor. Well informed and available to students. Dean of Academics was just promoted to principal and we are thrilled. Go Mr. Bozdag! We love you!

We have always been able to meet with Ms. Rizvi whenever issues have arisen. She is an able advocate for her "kids." What I love about Ms. Rizvi is that she crafts solutions that address the issue while keeping an open mind about student growth. She is also well connected and well-liked by students and staff. This leads to easier meetings and quicker resolutions so that the learner can keep progressing.

YES! Kids are kids and there will always be some amount of static but this school takes things seriously. We had one issue come up. I heard about it from my daughter that evening. Emailed the school the next day and it was resolved successfully within 24 hours. My student felt comfortable with the result and we've never had a problem since.

It's a 10. If you want a private school education for your student with the resources of a public school this is the place. Be aware, expectations are high and there will be a learning curve unless you are transferring in from St. Marks or Hockaday. But there is plenty of teacher support for students who are willing to try. Both my students love this school and I feel so thankful as a parent to have them there. I can honestly say that the caliber of education they are receiving here is life-changing.
