The Principal and her staff are very energetic, and this is reflected in the teachers' enthusiasm and the efforts they put in; you can tell the teachers enjoy what they are doing.

Although I saw more character-building techniques taught in my daughter's elementary school, I still feel that those core values are encouraged in her middle school at YWLA.

The school and the district have a 0 tolerance policy on bullying, and this is conveyed to both students and parents during the registration process.

This is an exceptional school which does an outstanding job of encouraging young girls to perform well in everything they do. It is also preparing them for college by showing them how to get there and what it will take to succeed. This is something my own school in Mesa, AZ lacked, when I was growing up.
