This school is absolutely terrible. They've had no math teacher since august for advanced math and kids are just expected to watch random videos on the concepts that don't help at all. If the teacher wasn't available for so long, they should have made arrangements to find a good able substitute to teacher the class. As a result on unclear teaching and instructions, many are failing the class therefore experiencing damage to their gpa for no fault of theirs. Additionally, they have tests back to back- one day after another- and they've had this going from week 5 of the nine weeks to the ninth and final week. I get that this is a high school and some of the classes the students take are ap and advanced classes but there's no need to test so heavily that students get no time to relax and breath. Finally, MOST of the teachers do not teach and when students go to tutorials they literally say "read what's on the textbook" when clearly it hasn't been helpful enough. In short, this school expects students to self study leading to long study sessions through the nigh then somehow expect them to show up early to school and not get a tardy, and be ready for at least two tests a day with more to give the other day.

This school looks good on the outside but it’s bad on the inside, every time the students have something good going for them it gets ruined. For example they took away our 1 hour lunch period for a different stupid system of lunch, all because there were “too many fights” breaking out. The only reason theres fights is because the school manages them poorly in the first place. This school is terrible for the kids mental health and we all hate it here. I’ve never heard 1 kid say “yeah I like Lebanon”.

They don't have teachers for subjects like advanced math, impose unnecessarily harsh rules, have tons and tons of work for no good reason in on-level electives classes that eat away your study time for subjects that actually matter.

They sent me an email yesterday afternoon to assign tutoring for my kid for the next day.
We are new to the school, to the area, and the lady who answered the phone was so rude.
I just asked her to inform my kid about it, so I know if I had to pick her up since she goes by bus.
She refused and said send an email to your child! What if they don't check their mails?
Especially it's the first time! Later I will tell her to check the mails.
Very unprofessional, even when you ask them any question, all they reply is go to the website and check.
Mybe a person isn't tech expert?
People who are in the education field need to be more caring, I know some parents and students care less about school even, but those who want their kids to learn need to cooperate with a staff willing to show some help.

This school has gone from bad to worse and will go to horrible next year. They are losing half the core teachers due to budget cuts next year, and making things harder for students. classes will be larger, therefore less focus on individual students. they’re taking away our hour long lunch which was one of the best parts about this school, the teachers and administration, don’t give a crap about student mental health, the phone policy is terrible, and will continue to be so. the budget situation in this school has come to programs getting shut down, and half the teachers already don’t teach. teachers/admin will always resort to contacting parents instead of trying to handle things on the school level, they seem to be addicted to escalating even the tiniest issues. just know, there’s a reason why their rating dropped two points in a year, and don’t expect it to go back up. save yourself/your children if you’re a parent; don’t torture your kids by sending them here. this place looks grand and everything, but it’s horrible inside, total dystopia. We have fights almost every week, and it gets especially bad towards the end of the school year. multiple holds and accidents and first responders showing up every year. i speak for myself and my underclassmen when i say LT sucks.

Principal is not fit to be a leader. Her decision making is poor and punishes the masses rather than hold the handful of students accountable for their poor and disruptive behavior that happens on a continuous basis.

The teachers challenge the students and truly care about them.

Overall, I would not recommend LT based on the poor leadership that is in place, and the unstable environment that a handful of students are allowed to exhibit.

I have had my children in the FISD district for 16 years and we were just rezoned to LTHS. My other children were zoned at Centennial so this is comparing the 2 experiences.
LTHS is a nice campus with a well versed principal. The staff seems to genuinely care for the students and I do like the APs that I spoken with. Here’s what my concerns are. There is way too much fighting, bullying and disrespectful behavior from the students. I don’t feel it is addressed enough. I don’t have answers but it is exhausting hearing about all the school fights and such everyday. My kid needs to go to school feel safe and be able to focus on studies. Parents get it together. It is not the teachers job to teach your kids to act right. On a side note I hope they start disciplining these students it is not fair to the ones who give a crap about learning. Let’s get back to the basics .. an education. For the love of God, please.

The Principal is amazing and has a lot of great teachers all around. However, the English and Social Studies departments are horrible, especially the teachers for GT Humanities. They never grade tests on time, and if time runs out, they simply remove the test from the grading. If you are in Percussion, you are done. The new Percussion Director thinks the students only have Percussion to worry about. Too many extra practices before and after school to prepare the students for concerts. The concerts are to showcase the student's talents to parents and he pulls students even when they have EOC and AP exams that week. This needs to stop and the administration should do something about this ASAP.

In the span of one year, LT has gone from an excellent school to one which is extremely strict and uncaring of students' mental health. The teachers are biased in their grading for reasons as irrelevant as "not being on the debate team." The school does not care about students mental and emotional health and the workload is noticeably heavier compared to other FISD High Schools. The phone policy is also very strict and unnecessary.

This school is relatively new school when compared to other schools, but counselors/teachers aren't passionate to motivate your child. In simple words, if your child is independent and can keep up with all of his works then this school maybe a right choice IDK, but if your child struggles in academics, organizing, planning or any other factors then not much help to motivate them in order to bring them on track. I personally feel counselor need to be more responsible in order to educate children on what they're lacking. Overall average experience. This is my honest review as a parent. Since many are moving here thought my review will be helpful.
