I've been in the school for three years with my same-age brother, this school has been a great expierience. Everyone is friendly and kind, the teachers are super helpful especially when it comes to the STAAR test as well as just normal grades. With the teachers here, learning is very easy with their explanations and fun activities. With all the differnent cultures, we created a friendly community and learn about one another. Mental health is a huge thing here, teachers from anywhere even a different grade are there for you and help you when you need it. I love it here and I recommend it to anyone looking for a good school.

I have went to this school since 6th grade along with my sister that is the same age as me and my experience has been very welcoming. Ever since the first day, the staff always treated me with respect and I always felt very included despite being a new kid. There is MANY great teachers at this school that make learning very easy to understand and comprehend. Saginaw offers many opportunities for families to get to know each other and allow connections within the community. If a student is feeling down, there is not just the counselors, but there is also the teachers who would be happy to support any student regardless of the situation. In my time being at Saginaw, I have seen a handful of fights and physical altercations but there were always handled very well. 10/10

Highly recommend ILT! Im both a staff member and a parent, and its been a great experience. My middle schooler started here in Kindergarten and has always felt supported by the amazing Teachers and APs. Grateful for this school community!

As a teacher at this school, I can honestly say its a wonderful place to work. The administration is supportive, approachable, and truly values both staff and students. Theres a strong sense of teamwork among teachers, and everyone is willing to collaborate and share ideas to help our students succeed.

I've been teaching for 46 years. Saginaw ILT K8 is by far the best school I've experienced. Our teachers work hard for their students. They go the extra mile and genuinely care for our students. Our principal, Dr. Ramirez, is dedicated to his staff and students. He creates a positive, safe, and enjoyable school. He is the best principal I've worked for!

The staff at the school make it great. They are caring, they want your child to grow and learn and be good members of society. The APs, grade-level administrators, and other staff all have good relationships and have good teamwork. The PTO is always involved in bridging that gap between parents and staff members. I love the school. I love our teachers and staff members, and I love how they show up for the kids. Every single day.

We have had a positive experience for a few years at their Houston/Katy campus. Upon moving to Fort Worth, our assumption was that our children would get a similar positive experience. We were very wrong. There are a handful of good teachers, but it's not enough. Most teachers at this campus phone it in most days and many are yellers. The curriculum seems decent when followed, but the parents have to carry the heaviest load to ensure the children are progressing at all. The communication with parents is often poorly timed (last minute), incomplete and create more confusion than understanding. They adhere to a strict uniform dress policy (which is generally a good thing) yet teachers walk in looking like they just rolled out of bed. The administration is blissfully unaware of how toxic some of the classrooms are and many parents are frustrated but don't speak up as they know it will fall on deaf ears. My child has been bullied regularly and relentlessly and the school has done almost nothing to stop it. Kids speak in profanity laced sentences. This school needs serious intervention and likely a new staff in order to see any real improvement. The principal seems nice and says all the right things about parents at school events, but there is a huge disconnect between what he says and the actual reality of what's happening. Teachers, unless they need something from you, avoid parent communication like the plague. For example, setting up teacher conferences and only offering a handful of slots for sign up - sends a very clear message about the actual desire to create a partnership between parents and teachers. When I originally shared the bullying concerns the vice principal at the time repeatedly cancelled meetings until I eventually gave up. Both the school counselor and the administration never followed up with me (it's been a year). We now have a therapist for our daughter to ensure she is able to recover from the social anxiety that has been created from this school. We have now reached the conclusion that we can no longer keep our children in that environment and are making a change. We also hear from other parents at birthday parties and events that they are also experiencing similar challenges. The concept of ILT is outstanding - but it has to be executed well. At this campus, it falls short of the ambition they advertise.
