Do not enroll your child in this school. The administration is awful, trying to get a hold of anyone is impossible. My children continue to complain about the rude cafeteria staff, the substitute teachers keep yelling at my child to a point where she comes home crying because of the mistreatment.

As a concerned parent the teachers here lack the love of teaching they want to label your kids right away. I moved my son to a different school and I see such a difference in his grades and the way he sees school. He hated going to school at Sgt Jose f Carrasco for 3rd and 4th. Now he loves it at vista del sol science academy its a great school the teachers are awesome and engage the kids there.

I seriously dislike this school! I have witnessed parents confronting the crossing guards/monitors and I have reported, twice, to Mr. Auguirre! He has done nothing to protect the staff, and let's these parents do whatever they want! None of this happened when Dr. Sep was the principle! A child was being bullied, and I guess the school turned a blind eye! This child had his father, and his motorcycle crew, ride up to the school just so the child would feel safe! How could you allow these bullies to keep torturing others?!

My child has attended this school for two grades . I like that the school has improved in organization. I liked how the old principal was also involved and had a concerned attitude towards the students which shows she cares about her job . The new principal doesnt really seem that way but hes still new so ,will have to see how that goes . Im glad that bullying is not tolerated nor profanity . Academics wise , there is plenty of help for students that do fall behind . Front desk does seem like they lack people skills . Overall not a bad school

My son has been attending this school since it opened. From Pre-K to 3rd grade, I have had great relationships with all teachers, Admin, and the best Security Mr. Tobar. When I have reached out, I always get updated. I would recommend this school always.

The administration at this school is awful. Terribly unorganized and a serious lack of communication. They have left a lot of families scrambling and without information on the overflow issue. No one knew their child wasnt on a class roster until 5 pm 2 days before school started. All phone calls and emails left unreturned. Many kids are missing the first day of school just waiting for answers.
Zero accountability or apologies.
Its ridiculous and unacceptable! Their front office staff is rude as well!
