The school is beautiful and superb on all the latest technology and educational resources.

We’ve had 2 incidences while attending this school for 4 years that we’ve taken to the principal and then the superintendent and neither was resolved or even acknowledged. One was a threat to my child, when the principal didn’t respond we took it to the superintendent and also no response; the security team finally helped smooth over the situation, but only after a multitude of calls from me, however it was never resolved.
As we are finishing senior year, I’m just glad to be finished with Prosper and Rock Hill. The district is just growing too quickly, I feel like my child was just another number to them. Many teachers have appeared to be overwhelmed and overworked and lacking good teaching ability.

Counselors and most teachers are great, however the science department is VERY lacking in quality when compared to things like history. The higher level staff(principals, aps, district officials) however clearly show preferences to certain students, mainly athletes and students. Attention is rarely given to the fine arts departments, even though they go much farther than football, and sports other than football are given much less attention and praise, even when going to state. There is some discrimination against higher functioning/less needs special needs students, but thats mainly from certain parts of the staff. Things out of students control are also often grounds for punishment, and arguably the school resource officers are a bit too intimidating for most students to feel safe. But all around for being such an expensive school its alright. Not awful but not great either

This is a great High School where we have choice of selecting the subjects each year, they have well established cafeteria where students can purchase their meals during lunch. Skyward online account helps Parents to login and view the students progress on a daily basis, enter students absence online through same portal instead of calling to office. Send the doctor note to the attendance department and they make a not of it.

Parents receive emails with all kinds of activities which are happening in the High School, in case of emergencies they call to parents and inform, update weather alerts etc.

From this year they have started Digital SAT in the school itself. Students are encouraged to open new clubs of their choice and help other students to educate them.

Bullying, Vaping and other activities are strictly prohibited and students will receive punishment if they are caught.

National Arts is well encouraged and students will receive medals and parents are invited for each celebration.

Pep Rally are great to see in this High School.

From past 2 years my daughter is studying and very happy about her academics and i recommend this school for any High school student.

One of the best places to raise future leaders. Great facilities and exception teaching staff. Rest your child has to put an effort to get ahead and find his feature.

Bad school, some teachers are good but there are many bad ones who don't teach or teach in a very rude manner, insulting students. Curriculum is messed up making classes difficult, unhelpful, excessive, and unfair. Science department especially is very bad except for a select few teachers who are outstanding. Many students cheat and no one does anything. Very nice facilities though. CTE and math teachers are good. History teachers are very nice.

Excellent for Political Animals. The rest of us? Not so much. Zero transparency. There's no transparency with where funds go after fundraising. Favoritism runs rampant. My kid is one of the stars in his sport , and he feels bad for how much favoritism there is. He doesn't think that it's ethical. Personally, we know five families that are switching scores to get away from the coaching staff. We also know an additional half dozen students that are just going to quit athletics because of the rampant problems with the coaching staff. On the positive side there are some good teachers there and an excellent counseling office. There's no question that the schools in this area are built on and focused on reputation. It's an affluent area and a well-equipped school.

We love RHHS! The teachers and staff are supportive and helpful.
The curriculum can be challenging but not overly daunting.
Our child is heavily involved in extra curricular activities and is having a blast.
We were nervous getting into the high school years that we would struggle with "belonging" but that has not been an issue at all.
Our family is enjoying the commendatory of the school and so thankful for the friendships our child has developed.
We're so happy to be part of Rock Hill!

Good principal, okay teachers some of them are really good but most are mediocre. Just hype no quality of education or sports. only show off. Stay away from athletics and coaches it is all about favoritism and politics which will decide who will be in varsity and JV. Biggest mistake of our life!! They need to completely change their entire system in PISD, Prosper grew like crazy but PISD is still in a small area of just favoritism and references. No transparency.

The teaching staff has been stellar. Great teachers, very involved with the students. Mr. Toth seems to make a sincere effort to get to know all the students in the school, despite its size. The coaching in Athletics leaves a lot to be desired, across the board. There are some decent coaches, but there were several firings last year due to abuse, favoritism, and various violations of district policies. Other coaches should have had their contracts terminated for the same sort of infractions, but that didn't happen.

God help your kid if they are JV - they're made to do the laundry for the varsity team, carry their equipment, pick up after them, and generally treated like the servants of the varsity team. Two of the female coaches actually have teen girls discipline other team members under the guise of "accountability." This accountability amounts to harassing group texts, cyber bullying, and social ostracism. Team members will lie in order to make life miserable for others because some teen girls thrive on drama. Public humiliation as a discipline tactic is a big favorite of some of these coaches. Complain and your athlete gets benched - or much worse. We were always very public in our support of Prosper ISD and its superintendent, but dozens of complaints were ignored and no action was taken. Girls left the athletics programs in droves. We feel very let down by the Prosper ISD administration staff. They do nothing about all the complaints and reports of violations.

So, in short - if your student is not an athlete, they will have a fantastic experience at Rock Hill. If they are an athlete, not so much.

Really great school. Amazing teachers, staff and students are well behaved. rock hill has so many sports and activities you can participate in. The teachers actually take there time to make sure you understand the subject well, and its just a very fun school to go to. Its brand new, and rock hill has the best football/baseball/soccer teams that will never let there school down. They even won the championship rounds each year. But over all the teachers and staff are very caring, very friendly and if there is any bullying or anything going on they will take it seriously and deal with it right away. But so far there has been nothing serious or any bullying! It has lots of fun events you can go to, has really great quality food. Love this school definitely recommend.
