IDEA Rise College Preparatory is a public college-preparatory campus serving approximately 650 students in grades 6–12. Since opening in 2019, Rise CP has grown into a full secondary campus offering Advanced Placement courses, career and technical education pathways, and college and career preparation.

Rise CP is committed to a safe, structured, joyful, and academically demanding environment. Teachers build strong relationships, establish clear routines, deliver rigorous instruction, and help students take ownership of their learning. The goal is for every student to feel known, respected, supported, and challenged.

The Class of 2026 established an important foundation. All 40 seniors graduated and received acceptance to a four-year college. 88% of seniors met a College, Career, and Military Readiness indicator, and 30 met the TSI college-readiness standard. These outcomes reflect the commitment of Rise CP students, families, teachers, and staff.

Biology, U.S. History, science, and several reading courses have been areas of academic strength. Rise CP was recognized by U.S. News & World Report as one of the top 10% of middle schools in Texas and was named to the 2025 Texas Honor Roll for strong academic performance and closing achievement gaps.

The campus also recognizes that overall academic performance is not yet where it needs to be. Rise CP is responding through stronger lesson preparation, weekly data analysis, targeted tutoring, small-group intervention, mastery checks, teacher coaching, and closer monitoring of students receiving special education and emergent bilingual services.

Rise CP’s culture is grounded in high expectations, strong relationships, student belonging, and consistent accountability. The campus uses proactive behavior supports, family communication, and clear safety procedures to protect instructional time.

IDEA Rise College Prep earned a 94 out of 100 accountability score in 2023. The campus is proud of its history while remaining focused on improvement. Priorities include instructional consistency, attendance, student persistence, staff retention, AP success, and college matriculation. Families considering Rise CP can expect a committed team, ambitious goals, honest accountability, and a school determined to prepare every student for success in college and beyond.
