My daughter has been at Ridglea Hills for three years. She loves it and is thriving with the amazing teaching staff. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. There are many great events throughout the year to bring families together.

This is a true community school that receives strong support from the Ridglea Hills Neighborhood. The PTA is very involved and creates amazing events for the students (i.e. Walk-a-Thon, Fine Arts Day, Field Day, Talent Show, Halloween Carnival, Muffins with Mom, Donuts with Dad, Hot Dog Supper, Parent Fund Raiser). Academics are important, but when teachers and staff feel supported by the community, the school really shines. I've had two students at RHE (one with a 504), and we had a five-star experience, all around. Adults and kids make friends for life, and we have a "village" that will carry my kids through middle and high school.

I have three children at this school, one in a 504 program for dyslexia, one in gifted and talented and one TBD. In our 5 years at this school, we have never one time been disappointed in the curriculum or the teachers. Our children have developed meaningful friendships and been enriched by after school programs (chess club and run club). They have watched developed confidence in learning and a love of school. Walking the halls is a special place for a parent as the happiness is palpable. I encourage those interested to tour the school and see for yourself.

Overall I'm not pleased with this school. My sons will attend here until I can find better arrangements at another elementary. The staff members in the office are so comfortable they speak to you or at least they try, to talk to people a certain way. Every month this school has something going on.. science fair, math nights, fall carnivals and so forth.... all of this is great but where is the help that the failing students at this elementary NEEDS? how do the teachers find the time to prepare for the next day for their students? I feel that the parents whos children who have had successful outcome with their child attending this school is also at this school during school ours / not employed, so therefore they are able to be there and interact with staff on a daily but that is just part of the reason. I'm disappointed in the principal she is interested in appearing in a certain light to her staff vs being their for her students and parents especially when your in the right and staff may be at fault. I would not recommend this school to anyone, but at the same time everyone's experience is different. I just don't feel like some of the teachers do not care for their students as much as they should. As a parent I never want to worry if my children are in good hands when I live them. The staff shows by actions how they really feel about certain students and that Is very scary. ALL the children should be TAUGHT, NURTURED, EQUALLY amongst each other.

I initiated a meeting with my second graders teachers because I have noticed his struggle this year. Both teachers stated that most of the children in their classrooms are struggling and yet the school has no help for the students who are struggling.... unless the child has been diagnosed with some type of disorder the student will not receive "special attention" as a parent I'm disappointed.

My second grader has also come home to me stating his teacher has made such comments like... I'm going to tell your mom about your big mouth? unacceptable for an grown adult to address a child in that manner.

I feel that the principal is unreachable. I have reached out and sent emails and feel ignored whenever I have had concerns for my children. and yet I'm always told she is in "meetings".

My youngest child was pushed by a 3rd grader at this school and the Teacher, Principal, and Nurse that he was sent to did NOT notify me about the incident. my son was told by his teacher to tell me when he made it home.

Such a gem of a school! I have two children at Ridglea Hills. Both are thriving and look forward to going to school. The school is smaller than many other elementary schools, which gives it a warm family feel. Teachers and principal are open and accessible and care so much about the children. Parent community is outstanding! Such a warm and welcoming environment. Couldn't ask for more!

This school is family. The kids are welcomed with open arms and the most of the teachers are amazing!! There is always going to be one bad apple, but that should not tarnish the reputation of this amazing school!!

I have one child who has already attended K-5, one in 2nd and one who will be there soon. I am so grateful to live in this school pyramid in the FWISD. The Staff and PTA are fabulous! I have held numerous PTA positions and volunteering is always welcomed!

Our grandchild attends Ridglea Hills Elementary School. They attend 1st grade and we have been very happy with the quality of education. Our grandchild is excelling in all areas and is above grade level in math and reading. We love how encouraging the teachers have been and the creative efforts to address the needs of our grandchild. This school is like a family and they have wonderful events for families. A top school in the Fort Worth area.

AWESOME public school with an excellent staff!. I've had 2 children go through this school and both were challenged, excelled and were well prepared for middle school. Parent involvement is extraordinary and the PTA provides lots of exceptional experiences and extra activities for students throughout the year. The art teacher and music teacher are outstanding and the long-time campus monitor ensures a safe and friendly environment for the kids and the parents..

Outstanding school!! I have had a wonderful experience at this school. My children have been challenged academically and had a very positive social experience. The parental community is very supportive of the school and the teachers were all good. Some were excellent, even better than we experienced at private schools. I highly recommend this school!
