As a former student I can say with 100% honesty if you send your kid here they'll be around drug users. The plumbing is bad it always reaks of feces and the staff are prejudice. Teachers are rude within my whole school year I got about 5 good teachers..

My son is currently a freshman at the school, his grades are high and the environment around him is very supporting. There are a lot of extra circular activities, and very happy with the selection of having him attend North Garland. My son really seems to be thriving, which makes me feel at ease. I would highly recommend anyone send their child to North.

I attended from 2017 to 2021 and participated in MST and AMS programs. I can recommend attending this school if you want to pursue a career in STEM or medicine. However, I would probably attend somewhere else if you are not looking to participate in AP and DC courses, as many of the good teachers are assigned to these sections.

Prejudice leadership favoring the ones who look like them. Definitely not a place for African American students unless you want your children to be treated differently.

My son is currently a junior at North. He loves the school, band , and engineering courses. Most teachers are exceptional, but we have had a couple that didn't seem to want to teach. There are a lot of courses and activities to choose from. I am sending my freshman there this year also. There is a lot of school pride which makes it fun too. I recommend this school even though the rating has gone down.
