Even though i'm new to this school, the teachers are all Respectful, they offer lots of help, and they help you work your way up with your speech, I would highly recommend this school, It's great for all kids to learn there.

After 5 years with kids at this school, I would highly recommend it to to incoming students and families! It starts with the great leadership. The principals are fantastic. And, the teachers are wonderful. Our experience has been amazing!! Thank you Ms. Schmidt and all the entire crew at Schrade!

First experience of middle school with my children and it went much smoother than I hoped it would. I felt very comfortable all year long.

Very strong communication. Better than I had expected for middle school. My son's favorite teacher was Mr. Reyna in Science. He is a Math kid but took a liking to Science and just followed Mr. Reyna's passion for the subject. We appreciate him very much for all his encouragement and support in his UIL and STEAM activities.

The staff and students are wonderful. They all work hard and participate in new ideas and projects. The school is not perfect but everyone is willing to give it their best. They will meet you in the middle.

This school had become like a prison unless your student is from a wealthy family and they are one of the athletes and cheerleaders who are privileged.
I had friends express their concern about the school administration and how children are not treated fairly and looked down on if they did not come from a wealthy home. I would definitely agree with my friends now.
The school does have some good teachers however, I will point back to the administrators and if your child should have a condition or being going through difficult situations this administration does not care. I promise you they do not care.

This school is horrible working with students that have learning difficulties, the school does have some good teachers the administration on the other hand abuse their power and students with ADHD get in trouble over the least little infractions and there is a very very strong probability that because the administration is not good at dealing with minor issues, the administration will involve the police.
Parents all over the nation are extremely concerned about the school to prison pipeline. I can tell you Schrade is definitely one of the schools parents need to be very concerned about.

My child had fantastic English, Band, Science and Social Studies teachers. They truly wanted to be there, see their students succeed and had fun, interesting ways to learn through projects, special challenges and intriguing questions to research. They were always there for the students when they needed them with either academics or social issues. They communicated well with parents so we knew when things were assigned and when they were due. I really felt included in the information loop!

At first I was wearisome about my son going here and transitioning to middle school but I have been really encouraged by the amount of learning, the fun opportunities he has to learn and the willingness of the staff to help these students transition from children to teens. There are a few things that happen that I would love to shield him from, like the language of the students during non-academic time. But I think that is where his integrity is strengthened and even grows when he can withstand the temptation to join in. Overall, I think this is a great school and I am glad he went here!

Man, as I thought it couldn't get any worse. Pearson Elementary School was very bad, But Schrade Middle School was worse. The teachers act like they don't want to be there. The bathrooms were disgusting. The bullying got even worse. The teachers were completely useless on trying to help me from the bullying that was happening to me. It is completely undeniable that it was very bad. Just like Pearson, DO NOT GIVE THIS SCHOOL POSITIVE REVIEWS! I'm glad I got transferred north of Dallas during 2nd semester in 7th grade because I would've gone insane if I was still there. Spread this warning before its too late!

I stil go to schrade on my 7th year.It decent I mean aside from all the fights.The teachers being mean.Parents think when a child comes hom and says mom/dad my teachers hate better believe it.Some teachers even watch innapropiate stuff on thier computer.But Schrade is still the best .Best scores Best teams and no UNIFORMS so its preety good BETTER THAN COYLE!

i really like this school but lately there have been a lot of bad things going on but there all cleared up now.i love the teachers and all of the courses. XD
