WORST SCHOOL EVER!!! It feels like a prison here. School doesn't end until 4:15. Teachers are rude, controlling and do not teach!! We don't have lessons at all. We just sit silently on our computers. There are fights and the school has been threatened. I do not feel safe or happy here. Our lunch, which is our only break, is barely 20 minutes. The food is disgusting. We NEVER go outside at all. I've been here for over a year and have only gone outside maybe 2 or 3 times. The sports teams require extremely long hours. The school cares more about our test scores than what we learn. We have an EXTREME amount of tests and district tests. Everything here is for a grade. Every day we have a test in almost every class. The buses are terrible. They cram like 80 kids into the bus. Everyone sits 3 to a seat and it is miserable and gross. We have the same classes everyday, and everything is so repetitive. We aren't allowed to talk at all in class. It's like the teachers hate the students. This is the worst school I have ever been to in my life. Do NOT come here, you will deeply regret it. Sending your kid here would be cruel.

As a former student I was heavily harassed for being special needs education. Also the sped teacher are very unprofessional with multiple forgetting my name. Some who have claimed to talk to me and observe me in class I have NEVER seen before. These people ran my ARD for multiple years. IF YOU HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE.

This schools education and teachers do not care about how my kid feel and they give them no time to do there work they only give them 45 minutes plus the due now and they only get one day every teacher makes fun of kids or just always trying to argue with them and will never try to come to a agreement from both sides of where they are coming from my kid comes home everyday saying how much they do not wanna go back and i have tried to email but they do not listen and keep making it worse the food there has got my kid sick more than once they have found bugs and other stuff inside of there lunch or breakfast i do not recommend anyone to bring there kid to this horrible school.

This is the worst school ever, I've been going here for 2 years and now in 8th grade. It isn't really diverse, it only has white, black, and mexicans. I am Korean-American so it's really hard to fit in. Second, kids at this school make fun of because I play tennis. IT'S A SPORT. Why should I get bullied for THAT. Third, the teachers are very bias to the white girls and no one else. I can't wait to get out of here.

Gene Pike middle school is an amazing experience for my kids. Teachers care for the children and do their best to educate. We loved our kids spending last 1 year at this school.

Overall, the school is like a family. They really care about their students and education. There may be some hiccups, as with any school, but they have clear paths of communication and are very responsive.

Students here are endowed with a sense of hard work. When something doesn't exist, they make it exist. Also, they have a very comprehensive student government. -student

THIS SCHOOL SUCKS!!! Please do not take your child here they will be around bad influences and the teachers pick favorites, even the principle does. I have been going to this school for 2 years now!!! Trust me I'm a student.

This school's staff in my opinion is horrible, most of the people that work here need to reevaluate their jobs. My child doesnt like this school at all.
