The rating for Haggar absolutely does not reflect the quality of this school. The teachers are amazing, the PTA is super involved and supportive, and we could not be happier with the quality of education our two kids have received over the last six years. We have also used services ranging from Take Flight (dyslexia) to PACE (gifted) and felt supported every step of the way.

We’ve been part of this school for four years now. My son takes part in Speech and I’m very familiar with their services. They’ve worked hard to elevate his speech. The parents are involved and there is a concerted effort to do the best for the kids as we’re able. It’s truly a great community

Where are the older teachers that know how to control the classrooms and has much more experience with the kids? Very wonderful staff and the principals are always there to listen. The PTA is always having activities. Its just the teachers. I dont believe some can handle 20 kids or more and their fresh out of college. Its to much for them!

My son has ADHD and is currently on the 504 plan. The plan was discussed but are the teachers using it? No, then when their not using it they want to call you everyday. If they were using the 504 accommodation there should be no reason to keep calling the parents. These fresh new teachers cannot handle 20 something kids and kids with developmental issues. It's to much for them.

This school is very big on teaching the kids about good citizenship.

The teachers are extremely to young, fresh out of college and some cannot handle kids in the classroom that has developmental issues like ADHD plus 20 something kids. Its to much for them I believe.

Not a lot of homework is given. Maybe a sheet once a week that can be finished in 5-10 minutes.

I think folks in the area that are private schooling should really give Haggard a shot. The teachers here are great!

It would be nice to address bullying here at Rose mary Haggar.. They need to address this, add it to the curriculum if possible. Teachers need to do something as well.. It's so sad how they ignore this.

The early years at Hagger were good. The kids did well, their development did not go unnoticed. However, towards their latter years, 4th and 5th grade, it stopped. My eldest daughter was less enthusiastic about going to school. It turns out she had been bullied by other girls. When I brought this up to her teacher she told it would be address. I followed up with her and was told the school has an " it doesn't happen here" approch to bullies. We put up with it because the school was "exceptional". They are now home schooled. In regards to other comments "sense of community" this is true as long as you fit "their mold". Single mom's you may as well wear the scarlet letter.

We are very happy with RMH Elementary. Our son loves this school! There is a strong sense of community here among parents and families. The teachers and staff are very good and caring and many go the extra mile for the kids. There are great after-school learning programs and fun activities throughout the year. We also have a very active and well-funded PTA. The school is in a great neighborhood where people actually know their neighbors! Overall, it's a great school in a great neighborhood.

Wonderful school and staff! My 2nd grader loves RMH. Lots of opportunity for parents to get involved thru PTA and volunteering

Great School! The teachers and principal make the school an outstanding learning environment. The curriculum is challenging and the gifted program is outstanding. The specials teachers are wonderful. I'm not sure about the review about the unsmiling teacher as my kids' teachers have always had very positive encouraging teachers.
