We felt very welcomed by the school from the moment we registered. The office staff was very helpful in getting all of our paperwork in. All three of my kids loved their teachers at Glenmore. Each one was very responsive and kept parents up to speed with anything going on in the classroom. We highly recommend Glenmore!

Teachers act immediately when student is disrespectful to another student or teacher.

My kids attended this school for one semester (Fall 2018), and it made all the difference for the rest of the school year. I am confident in saying that thanks to the semester spent here, my fifth grader did awesome in her STAAR tests and feels more confident going to middle school. My kids loved all the hands-on learning, especially my fifth grader who participated in their STARBASE STEM program. They always felt welcomed and the kids were great; they hardly ever had problems with other students. They had many activities and events for the kids and offered a lot of options for extra-curricular activities. Coming from a school district that fails dramatically in academic achievement and problem behavior, we were blessed to have had a very positive experience at Glenmore.

Homework was very minimal. I loved that my second grader's teacher pre-tested the students on Monday for their weekly spelling tests, usually given on Fri. If they got 100, they did not have to worry about that part of the homework assignment. For the older grades, a basic Spelling/Vocabulary sheet was given to them to study words.

The teachers help the students on site; they go over wrong answers right after assignments are graded. They have multiple ways of communication; I received a phone call right after sending a message though one of the apps.

Expectactions for grades, behavior, and attendance are all high but for good reason. We transferred in for one year before we moved into the district. My now 3rd grader was diagnosed with ADHD with hyperactivity last year and all of her teachers since have been extremely patient and understanding with her. My kids love this school and all the staff.

This is the only elementary school my children have ever attended. My daughter is now in middle school and my son is in 5th grade there. We moved to Lamar district a few years ago and I put in a transfer every year for my son to continue to go to Glenmore. They really feel like family and I know my son is in good hands everyday when I drop him off.

Our son has been at Glenmore for a couple months now. He loves it. I love that there are high expectations for students' behavior, writing, reading, spelling, and math skills. The school has excellent test scores. There is ample recess time for our active third grader. Our son's abilities have already increased dramatically because of the increased expectations and positive atmosphere. Loving it!

Did not like this school at all. Very unsatisfied with the behavior of some of the teachers.

We moved to the district of glenmore elementary two years ago. In hopes that all the things I heard about it was true. My son is fixing to continue at glenmore for third grade and we are so excited. He had a great two years there thanks to Mrs. Boatright and Mrs. Johnston . They are amazing teachers. So here s to a great new year. Thanks glenmore staff.

Great school! We love the teachers and the postive atmosphere . The teachers are willing to work with you and yoru child on anything and everything. The principal is a good leader, and willing to do anything in her power to make sure ALL students and parents are satisfied. There are several ways for parents to get involved with their childs education, like ascience day, fall festival. They also have luncheon days for moms, dads, and grandparents. I hate to leave this school it has been so great to my kids.

This school, the teachers, and the staff are awesome! Our girls have gone to school here for three years and when we move next year I am going to be really sad to see them go. The teachers and staff go way above and beyond for the students, they are like family. I just hope we can find a school as fantastic as this where we move next! This school really is perfect!

Glenmore is been an excellent school for my son, he took 3rd & 4th grade here and he's been an excellent student, the teachers are very friendly and comprehensive, overrall all the staff are great, the review for the TASK tests are fantastic for the students, I have to leave the school this year because we're military family, but I will miss this school and I know my son too with all his friends...There's nothing bad that I can say about this school because is simply perfect....

I changed districts to send my son here and I'm glad I did. He did great thanks to Mrs Boatright. My son is ADHD and will finish this year with an overall A. This school is the next best thing to the gifted program.
