My experience as a student at AHS is very interesting, the school says they are "making a difference everyday, for every student" but in reality people say they treat their special needs students horribly and they are in debt. They care a lot about putting money into these vape detectors for students to get caught so they can go through charges and things that makes them money, like crime stoppers as well. There is bullying that happens at times but the school seems to focus on abusing their authority because they say so it seems like at times they're the bullies. I thought this school was about helping kids get the help they need. you just have to experience it yourself to really know what things are like on the inside. Like for example their ISS room for "troubled kids" they took away desks, they are soon going to put only stools so you have to eat, write do your work on your lap. Not even Daep was that bad, that's a an example on how they like to use their authority to a stretch. Over all some teachers actually care about teaching their students and make it fun while some just seem like they have to be there.

Incredible school with caring staff and admin! Offers a lot of excellent courses and learning opportunities, as well as certificates and college credits students can earn. Amazing education program!

My family has had a great experience at Azle High School and I've been impressed with the school leadership.

Terrible. Mr. Driver is non-existent as a principal, only showing up for pictures. He’s absent when any work needs to be done or decisions need to be made. Parents are the enemy here. A lot of lip-service is given to “safety” but practically this is the most dangerous place in the area to send your kids.

If you have a troubled youth that likes to hit other kids and bully other kids without disciplinary action by the school or the school district, this is the school for you. However, if you don’t like your kids being bullied, or you expect accountability when your child is hit and bullied, then choose another school where your child can learn without having to worry about those issues. My child lasted one month at this school before I pulled them out.

They only thing most of these teachers are effective at is promoting bullying. For a direct example read on.

I was trying to graduate early due to bullying having 0 response from staff despite multiple reports at multiple levels. Instead of being supported was refused help from teachers, counselors, and vice principals.

Teachers will stack on homework over and over for 8 to 10 different classes or programs theres no way to be valedictorian or in the top 10 without sacrificing your mental or physical well being.

Would not reccomend attending this school for anything except the college credits. Some of the teachers are great and super supportive but the rest promote bullying and drama among their students for their own entertainment or to better their grade average.

The only reason I haven't switched schools is because I love their theatre program. The rest of the school and it's staff sucks.

Most of the time, the teachers don't enforce homework, but you still fail.

Some definitely know what they are doing (Tia Moen, Keri Dorris, etc.) but most of the teachers have zero experience and are extremely young.

Great school! Academic is amazing , great teachers, great communication with the parents. Coaches are very encouraging grades and discipline.

GREAT SCHOOL! The principal Mr. Robinson is one of the best things to happen to AHS! He cares about students and school morale. The pride this school has in sports and the community is unparalleled! The teachers are nice, caring, and want students to succeed! Every day AHS is improving and adding on, so proud to have graduated from this school, and definitely planning to teach in this community after college!

Azle High School in Azle Texas. Students and Staff represent high morals and UNITY. Good attitude about Diversity as well. Student body has a great deal of respect for the handicap. AISD is very involved one can tell by their outstanding updates on their website. Local paper continues to report high achievements from this school.

I went to AHS, moving to the district from Boswell. I liked AHS MUCH better. The students AND faculty were much friendlier, less cliquish, and personable. The principle knew me personally, and the teachers knew my name and really cared about me. I was not a popular athlete, but I still felt welcome in the school. When I went to college, I felt prepared, and was prepared more than many of my college classmates. There were several extra-curricular activities to choose from. I often stayed after school for those activities and learned so much from them. There were some great teachers there who prepared me for college and really cared.
