This school isn't very good there's way to many fights, security barely does their jobs and multiple kids are becoming stressed because of the inhumane workload

I have been attending Hank's for the longer half of three years, .and am terribly disappointed with Growing problems that student and teachers are faced with. Attending high school I was expecting to be treated as a young adult but was instead met with having to enter into a computer every time I would be in the bathroom and exactly which bathroom I would be using so that I could be
Monitored by admin. Our elective teachers have lost their conference period, and have been cruelly tossed aside and labeled as unimportant. Our lunches our 30 minutes long giving students little to no time to socialize and make connections. art teachers budgets have been cut completely in half. Many teachers have already quit while others I have spoke with say they only want to stay for another year at most. Students mental states have also been severely neglected and the amount of absences per semester have been changed from 9 to 6 and families such as my own who struggle financially and can not afford a piece of paper from a doctor to confirm that the young adult was indeed sick are no met with detentions on Friday for their absences one teacher stated "they are trying to end public school" I hope you found this review helpful and I sincerely hope that someone who is reading this can make a change in the yisd hank high school.

Teachers and administrators really care about student success and do everything they can to help students. Also, great music program!

If you want your child to fail send them here. Although my daughter passed her classes with A & B grades they did not issue her credits for that semester. The assistant principal failed to let us know. When trying to correct the situation I received excuse after excuse. I was expected to be psychic and know what was going to happened. Horrible school and I am very disappointed!
