I have been very happy at Immanuel school. They try to bring out the very best in the students from academically, morally and spiritually. They have a passion for kids and their heart is to develop future leaders that have integrity. Because of this their expectation high but not unachievable. If you want a school that challenges your child to be the best they can be this is the school for you. Working together with parents is also a value the school takes pride in. Please check out Immanuel you will not be disappointed.

This is a great school for children. It is it a school that prides itself, along with its leadership, teachers, and staff, volunteers to pursue EXCELLENCE on many levelsintegrity, hard work, and academic learning, and Faith-based valuessomething desperately needed in todays school system.
Our children have now attended this school for nearly four years, and when questions and/or concerns have arisen, there has always been an open door policy in the spirit of understanding and positive intent for the student and family. From Mr. Davis to Mrs. Johnson, and everyone associated with Immanuel Christian School, they are individuals who have a passion for teaching students.
You will not be disappointed in selecting ICS! It provides for a well-rounded educationacademics, athletics, and character building.

Bias Principal. Overworked and underpaid teachers leads them to be bitter and moody with students.
Not a fun environment. My little one attended from 3yrs to 1/2 semester in 5th grade. Then had enough of principals conniving ways. Stay on her good side and dont complain because then shell be out to get your child.

Teachers are humans, but as a student I always felt supported despite having differences with some teachers. That is natural specially in high school. I will never forget Mrs. Navarro, Mr. Zubia, Mr. Rubi, Coach Rodriguez and Mr. Olmos.

If I had children I would register them at ICS in a heartbeat. I had a great experience, learned English and met some of my best friends.

What a FANTASTIC SCHOOL ! The teachers and administrators are very dedicated to ICS and love the students. The quality of education is top notch--the kids will definitely be prepared to take the next step and go to college. The environment is SAFE and STRUCTURED. Children learn about rules, regulations and personal responsibility-- concepts that will help them be successful throughout life. I especially like the wholesome, patriotic, christian environment-- I don't have to worry about gangs, drugs and the other negatives associated with public schools these days. Come and check out ICS ! I love this place ! The premiere private school in El Paso, IMHO !!

This school has been like my second home. I have worked here for 30 yrs. My son came to school here and three of my grandchildren graduated from here. I can honestly say that this school is the best in El Paso.

The homework is rigorous but effective. It engages the student to reinforce information and concepts learned in class.

Teachers are imperfect EVERYWHERE. People will have different opinions but in spite of them the teachers will love, teach, guide and mentor your child. Each teacher strives to be the best in their subject area. The BEST part is you become a part of our family and long after your child graduates the teachers are still pouring into your child. They are STILL loving them, guiding them and mentoring them. I have experienced this first hand.

Our school is BIG on developing a strong character in our students. Integrity, compassion and respect is modeled and implemented in the curriculum and witnessed in the relationships that are cultivated here between students, their families and teachers and staff. When mistakes are made by the leadership they humble themselves and make it right.

We have a head of school that not only has all the credentials needed to run this school, He is a strong spiritual leader. All of the administration strive together to improve the school daily, monthly and yearly. They are involved in the lives of the students and their families.
Posted: February 23, 2018
This school will do their very best to accommodate children with learning differences. They try to partner up with outside organizations to help the student. Teachers also attend workshops and conferences to help implement different learning styles.
Posted: February 23, 2018
Our school has zero tolerance for bullying. When made aware of a situation the administration deals with it quickly and effectively. Something that they do differently is that both the person targeted and the bully are dealt with. They both need healing. Hurt people...hurt people.

5 Stars! This school has been a huge part of our lives. They have partnered up with me to raise my children in an environment where they are given all the tools they need to succeed in life. They are academically prepared BUT more importantly they are taught how much God loves them, His Word and how to show that love to others with the same grace, mercy and love that God shows us everyday.

We are happy at our school. I always describe our school to others as a family. It's not always perfect, but we stand together to better our campus and find ways to better serve our students and community.

I do not mind homework, it's a great way to review, but I feel they also need a break at times.
Posted: February 6, 2018
Teachers are supportive, loving, and encourage the students to do their best. I would just like to see a little more communication from them, even in the upper grades.

All three of my children have gone and still go here. My oldest two graduated top of their classes and are at university on academic scholarships. My youngest is also top of her 6th grade class in academics and is loved by teachers and admin alike. We love ICS.

I was constantly harassed by being catholic in a baptist school by the teachers and administration. They would tell us we would go to hell if we didn't do things their way which was not the christian character you'd expect. I saw many people from my class become atheist or agnostic because they didn't want to be part of their "christian" ways. I strongly dislike the administation and their hipocrisy towards dealing with problems.

This is my 8th year as an ICS parent and one thing I absolutely love about this school is their zero tolerance policy towards bullying. As a mother, I am saddened each time I read about teenagers committing suicide because of bullying within their school. I know my daughter is safe at ICS and that the staff loves her and they are quick to address any concerns we have. No school is perfect, and so at times you DO have issues, but ICS is quick to council and solve disputes among the teens. We love Immanuel.

My daughter starting attending ICS as a 7th grader last year. As a military family, transitioning to new places can be. Hard at times. The teachers and students were very welcoming to our daughter and she has been very successful in the school. It is an academically challenging school but a nurturing and loving environment. There is a lot of options for sports and clubs as well as school wide activities for all. The tuition is reasonable and I feel like part of a family within the school.

Great school. Teachers and Administration really care about the students learning. The curriculum is challenging. There are many extracurricular activities for every type of student. Administration is constantly working towards improvements in every area. They do all this while teaching children the word of God and being great Godly examples.

Immanuel School is awesome, unless you dig a little deeper and find the hypocrisy in the staff. I worked there for years and was totally accepted, but I made a mistake and EVERYONE at the school turned their back on me. Where was God's forgiveness and mercy? I would not recommend this school to anyone because we all make mistakes and one day, if you're not careful, they will turn their back on you as well.

I highly recommend Immanuel Christian School for anyone who desires challenging academics, strong biblical foundation, and teachers and administrators who care and go the extra mile to see their students succeed. I felt loved and appreciated at ICS, I know you will too!

I have been a teacher at Immanuel Christian School (ICS) for many years. My children also attend ICS and have enjoyed being there. I have had the unique opportunity to see things from a teacher's perspective and a parent's perspective. As a teacher we are loved by our administration. I have seen them go out of their way to help us, encourage us, and discipline us in humility. That is love. Which is the same way we try to be with our students. They lead by example. I am comfortable asking questions and voicing my thoughts and disagreements without fear. I know they will listen. As a parent, I have not always seen eye to eye with my co workers however I do know that they love all their students (to include my children) and they love the Lord. We are united and respect each other. When I do have an issue, I pray. God resolves it. Why? Because we love God, each other and our students. We are not perfect, but we strive to excel in our communication, honesty, respect, innovation, stewardship, and teamwork with our administration, teachers, parents and students. This is accomplished through our LOVE for our Lord Jesus Christ! so...Come join our FAMILY! We would love that!

I have been teaching here for 11 years. The school's atmosphere is loving and warm. Families are embraced with compassion and commitment to reach not only their children's heart but intellect as well. Both of my daughters attended ICS and enjoyed it much. When making a decision about your child's education, consider this: Do I want a school that would nourish my child's intellect only?- or do I want a school that would nourish both intellect and spirit ? Consider ICS, we are called by God to teach in this school and make a difference in your child's life :)

My wife and I are college graduates with Master degrees. We originally home-schooled as my wife's expertise was in elementary education. As our children grew, we decided that it was important for all of our boys to be academically challenged and socially adjusted before they entered college. Every private school in the city and surrounding areas was examined. Our oldest son was entering high school and after seeing what was available, his choice was Immanuel Christian School (ICS). Upon further examination, we agreed and our oldest son began his high school education in the accelerated academic program at ICS. Subsequently, all of our sons entered, excelled and graduated from ICS. At this time, the oldest son is the administrative assistant to the IT Director at Baylor University. Our middle son is beginning his graduate studies at Liberty University and working full-time at ICS. Our youngest son, is currently praying about which college to attend. All success must be first attributed to God and then to the excellence of all phases of student development at ICS! By far, this school is the finest training resource available in the El Paso area. Please, consider this school!

This school is the best private school in the area. I have taught at ICS for many years, however, I chose this school after much research as to the best place to educate my daughter. I endured waiting lists, testing for grade level, and even waiting a year to be accepted. My child received such a good education in the years she attended that she graduated a year early from high school and even earlier from college. At age 23 she had her Masters Degree and a very good job! I know that her great foundations are because of this great school. I continue to work here because the students, parents and staff are the best anywhere - To God be the Glory! - A proud teacher

I have been part of the Immanuel family for over 20 years... first, as a student, then as a parent, and now as part of the faculty. I absolutely love everything about Immanuel. The teachers truly care about the children and I know my own child is receiving the best education. Once, I pulled my daughter out of Immanuel to try a "cheaper" school that was closer to home. She lasted only 3 months at this other school. I was so disappointed in the staff and quality of education. The following year, I had her right back at Immanuel. Now that my youngest is ready for school, there isn't even a hesitation as to where we want her to attend.

I have been a part of Immanuel for a decade and have a great appreciation for its loving community. I am glad to serve here! I love the professionalism of my co-workers. We all work together to provide the best education available in El Paso!

I have been a teacher at Immanuel for many years and I believe it to be a great school. I believe our academics are the challenging, the faculty, staff etc are caring, and the Spiritual life is always active, alive and growing. I love it!

I have been a teacher at ICS for many years and I am thankful to be serving in this school where God is working daily in the hearts of His people. Here you will find that the administration is approachable and supportive. Here the staff is committed to helping the students achieve their best. Here we speak one language - Love. There is no better place to be.

This is the best school in El Paso. I wouldn't have wanted my three children to have graduated from anywhere else. Top notch academics and spiritual emphasis.

We are a military family. My son attended Immanuel Christian School for three years. The school provided an excellent foundation for college. Coach Rodriguez and Coach Frazier gave him the opportunity to participate in sports. When he needed letters of recommendations, his teachers were glad to help him. I am always recommending the school to other people.

Awesome school!!! My three sons graduated from Immanuel. The academics were challenging but have made university work and graduate studies very manageable. If academics are your main concern, check this school out. We actually made the decision to send our boys to Immanuel because it is unashamedly Christian. We have witnessed "Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it."

My sent went to this school from the age of 3 to 13. He only left because he wanted to join Jr. ROTC. He was well prepared for public school and was placed in AP classes. We loved the school and the teachers. He has a strong Christian foundation and made many lifetime friends. He has since joined the military and still speaks highly about Immanuel Christian School.

Love the school! As a parent, we went to various schools to determine which school was the best fit for our family. While there may be other private schools in El Paso, Immanuel provides the exact support we needed to encourage, reinforce and sustain the values we believed and found were important as a family that sought to put God first. From academics to extra-curricular activities, they utilize every opportunity to teach students to give glory to God first. A school should be a home away from home environment and that is what Immanuel is for our family.

My daughter has been attending ICS since she was 3 years old. She is now a junior. Immanuel is simply the best school around. The atmosphere is a godly one. Everyone you meet greets you with a smile. The teachers are loving, and they really care about each student. They often go the extra mile whether it is helping with studies or supporting the students by attending games and activities. The administrators are wonderful and lead by example. It is evident that they want this school to glorify God. The curriculum is challenging, and it prepares the students for the next step--college. I love the fact that ICS is multicultural and also has several military families, so my daughter is exposed to many lifestyles. My family is so blessed to have ICS; it is our second home, and we love it!

This is a great school. The academics are challenging, the leaders and staff love the Lord and they are always looking for ways to improve.

Military family-our son and daughter attended here for a combined total of 6 years. Hands down the most academically advanced school they have been to in 4 states. If you make good grades here college will be a breeze. Teachers and adminstration always addressed our every concern. Best school we have attended!!

iCS is a school full of hypocrisy. It's a typical religious school, one has to be in the "in" crowd to receive any kind of mercy or grace. It's a school full of judgement. I never saw or felt God's love in that place including the church. Send your children to public school where they have a better chance of kindness and acceptance .

I attended this school the majority of my school k-12 life as well as schools in the YISD. I truthfully can say they are not connected with God. I had one teacher, Mr. Smith who was the only AMAZING teacher I had the entire time. They teachers and staff are very hypocritical especially the teachers, the curriculum is actually pretty decent, the food is overpriced, there are a lot of "who knows who" in that school and that is how the school is run as well. If you are doubting my statements, I was there long enough to know. My best friend's mother was criticized for being married more than one time, that is not a Christian way to view a person. Try Faith Academy.....

I went to Immanuel for eight years, and that school was terrible. Immanuel is awful. The people that are running this school do not know how to prepare young students for the real world.

Immanuel Christian School is an excellent school. My daughter loves this school, she has been attending since Pre-K and she's currently in 8th grade. What we love about this school is the curriculum and values that they teach the students. Definitely the best private school in El Paso.
