St. Clement's is a hidden treasure for the city of El Paso. The care and excellence cannot be found anywhere else in the city. The school concentrates on developing the whole child. They work on re-enforcing the values we teach at home. This school works on the ethics and teaches the children to make the right choices with the right tools. I love how my children are excited to go to school and how their independence has really grown. Love this school!

Professors are kind and helpful. The overall atmosphere here is one of collaboration and commitment to learning . St clements students goes out of their way to help others and be kind , which is unlike anything you could see in most other places.

Kids learn there are greater reasons to behave than merely their parents telling them to do so.

Posted: March 23, 2018

Lower school principal is wonderful and works tirelessly for students. New headmaster is energetic and makes himself available.

Posted: March 23, 2018

I can’t speak to that as my children are the same kind of student.

Posted: March 23, 2018

We have not experienced bullying there so I cannot speak to that.

Posted: March 23, 2018

Reasonable amount of time spent on homework. Not so much as to overwhelm. Effective.

Posted: March 23, 2018

They care. They have expectations. They are available.

I wish there was a "more than strongly agree, two thumbs up" option, because I would have chosen that for ever question above.
I truly cannot say enough good things about this school. My child is in the early childhood program, and has blossomed into an independent kid from the first day she entered.
The approach to education is beautiful. They allow the students to learn through experience and play. There is no drilling, no memorization, and so the kids LOVE to learn.
I have very good friends and family with children at other schools that do not share this philosophy, and as a result, these kids have major anxiety about school and the "tests" they receive, as well as hate school in general. They are barely in first grade! I want my kids to love learning, and love school, and we are well on our way with that goal.
I also love the focus on faith and character development. The two go hand in hand to me, and the emphasis on God's love for his children that the school provides is crucial. Again, it is not a class where Bible verses are drilled into the kids. The knowledge is given organically throughout the day and applied to daily life.
The teachers all get along and really work as a team to accomplish what is best for the student. I see mutual respect amongst the teachers and administrators. The parents, too, are respectful and caring. I have enjoyed getting welcomed by middle school and early childhood parents alike. I have the sense of a wonderful community at St. Clements where my kids are being watched out for and loved by everyone, students, teachers, and parents.
I am an alum of St. Clements, and have always loved the school. But, I love it even more now, and every day learn something else that makes me so happy that my daughter, and soon my youngest, will be attending. This is by far, the best school in El Paso, and I would venture to say one of the top in Texas.

Today’s world has big challenges and St. St. Clement’s School Christian Education provides students with universal values everyday. Students Characters starts developing since Pre-K by making sure love and respect for God and others are always present. My three daughters have learned how to help, respect, and be honest with themselves and others Since PreK until 8th grade. Every year they learned at chapel to be thankfull, have mercy and love others as God loves them.

Leadership is excellent due to the Parents participation helping the school through challenges and getting the best academic experience.

St. Clement’s School small groups give each student a personal education where teachers help students deal with their learning differences. Teachers have years of experiences and have the tools to make sure each student feels confident at school.

St. Clement’s School has a very firm process to handle bullying and teach students how to prevent and deal with the consequences when you pass the limits. At St Clement’s it is clear adults are responsible to provide a safe and healthy learning environment, teaching love for others to prevent bullying as much as possible, just as a family does.

St. Clement School’s homework improves student’s thinking and memory. Also, it’s enough to provide them with study skills and allow them to be part of extra curricular activities and sports.

After 13 years at St. Clement’s we have been blessed to have a wonderfull experience. Our daughters got the necessary skills to achieve their goals and leave with God in their hearts.
Thank you St. Clement’s School for helping us get the best out of our girls!!

My two daughters have been at St. Clements for 10 years. Our experience has been exceptional. They have been given a tremendous foundation and have now been exceptionally successful in high school. The faith based education is by far the best available in El Paso and the children leave there both more intelligent, with stronger characters, and a superb faith to carry them through life. I would recommend this school without reservation to anyone looking to give their children the best foundation for a joyful and successful life.

We shopped around A LOT for schools, and although we were drawn to private schools, we were really in the DUAL LANGUAGE mindset. However after visiting both a duel language School (and speaking with the director) AND visiting 5 private schools to gather more information, we decided on St. Clement’s. It has be the BEST decision we could’ve made.

Spanish is a CORE CLASS at St. Clement’s, and although they don’t teach all subjects in both languages, they study Spanish daily. We are non-native speakers, but it is so important to us that our kids embrase the culture and speak fluent Spanish.

Our children are completely fluent, due to the foundational & conversational Spanish they’ve been exposed to every day at school!

They’ve done extremely well in ALL subjects, and have also been given the opportunity to excel in Spanish!

I cannot thank the school enough for instilling strong work ethic, community service, and a love for cultural diversity in my children!

Only school accredited by Independent Schools of the Southwest (ISAS) in the region and only school utilizing ERB testing in the region. Oustanding outdoor education program. Many opportunities for activities in the arts and sports.

It's a lot of work, but St. Clement's teaches great study habits. My daughter has done so well in high school because of everything St. clement's taught her.

Posted: July 10, 2016

The teachers hold students accountable for their work and their behavior. Their is a strong Christian ethic driving the school beginning with chapel every day.

Posted: July 10, 2016

St Clement's was the best school for my daughter. The teachers and students were so welcoming to her when she transferred in the third grade. She was a little behind a academically, but the outstanding teachers worked with her. She is now top of her class in high school, and St. Clement's is the reason why.

I must say at first, I was extremely pleased with the teachers my children had for the 3 year old program and pre K, but after my daughter finished kinder we tested her at different schools. I didn't think the curriculum was impressive at the time, and I felt the school spends too much time trying to capture and kiss up to the ultra rich of El Paso. The kids aren't the administrations first priority.
After leaving St Clements, my daughter needed a year of tutoring to catch up to her class mates at another private school. If I could give a score less than one star , I would.

Posted: April 1, 2015

I would have given them two more stars except for the fact that my child told me that creationism is being taught. This may be fine for some parents, but not for me.

We moved to El Paso two years ago and I can't say enough about how lucky we were to find a school like St. Clement's. We did quite a bit of research before enrolling our kids and haven't looked back since. We found strong academics within a nurturing environment. We love the approach the school takes on spiritual growth and teaching Christian values. We have had amazing teachers that push our children and expect the very best of them and who have provided them very valuable tools for life. They are constantly revising the curriculum to stay on top of new teaching methods. If we move again we will definitely miss this "jewel in the desert" as my husband and I call St. Clement's

My children have attended St. Clements for 6-8 years and have loved every minute. The lower school teachers are very loving and are excellent teachers. The middle school teachers are firm but with a caring hand. Every day I take my children to school, I feel GRATEFUL that we have a school like St. Clements in El Paso. I have to drag my children home every afternoon because they DON'T WANT TO LEAVE SCHOOL. Even when they are sick they want to go to school!!! That tells me that I made the right decision in choosing St. Clements over any other school. Thank you St. Clements for everything you do for our children!!!

I just wanted to share that my husband and I are extremely happy at St. Clement's Parish School. Our child is thriving in a wonderful community of dedicated and loving teachers. I'm personally disappointed with previous post stating negative concerns. If people really feel this way they need to approach administration and let them know. I have found that this new "Interim" principal is very easy to work with and he listens to concerns. I don't believe that teachers treat parents differently based on their wealth. If so, then this would be very sad. We are not wealthy and we are treated with respect and fairness. We have experienced fair treatment and met wonderful parents from all different walks in life. We are very exited about all that is happening at St Clements for our children and the community. Trust us! We are not ones to stay quite. We will state our minds if we see any kind of unfair treatment. With that being said, we hope to be a part of this community for many many years. Go Wildcats!

After fifteen years and graduating three children from St. Clements, i am certain that St. Clements's is by far, the best school choice in El Paso, Texas that my family could have made. As the only ISAS accredited school in El Paso, St.Clements is on par with the best private schools across Texas. The education and curriculum is broad based, enrichment programs deep, first class facilities, great sports programs, teachers that nurture, care & challenge students and a very involved parent community. If you are seeking a safe place and a school that will teach and inspire your children to be leaders and to excel in high school and college, then your choice should be easy with St. Clements.

St. Clements is a terrific school with teachers who are extremely interested in the students. Low turnover among teachers makes a very friendly atmosphere with lots of parent involvement. Classes are small and personal and kids get lots of teacher attention. Small school with lots of personal attention plus good facilities. The Outdoor Education program is incredible for the students, no other school in the area has anything remotely approaching this program.

Posted: September 30, 2014

We have been at St. Clements for ten years now and every year has been wonderful. The rigorous accredited academic environment is well balanced with a nurturing and caring teaching staff. The enrichment options are vast and the students are exposed to various opportunities they might not find elsewhere. The student and teacher populations are diverse which gives our children rich and fulfilling friendships. We are thrilled that our kids are getting their foundation at a school with over 50 years of history.

From early childhood classes to middle school, the teachers and administrators make this school the most nurturing of environments. It feels like every single teacher, parent, administrator knows every child s name. They know strengths/weaknesses and use that knowledge to bring out the best in each child. It is true that the parents for the most part are a huge part of the success of the school. But it is because they help in so many creative and distinct ways. The community within the school is strong. The academics are complimented with great programs tailored specifically to challenge their minds. Public speaking is practiced at every age level, an incredible tool to carry into high school and college. We are happy and blessed.

St. Clement's Parish School from what I heard use to be a really good school but when my child was there, it was the most unchristian environment I had ever been involved in starting from the principal down to one of the teachers and even some parents. They clearly favorite children whose parents have quite a bit of money, and unfairly targets a child to the point where his or her self esteem is so low they end up being scarred for several years. The education and especially the social environment in which the child is placed in is not worth the tuition. Several parents have pulled their children out of the school. The administration needs a serious overhaul and some of the teachers need to be reminded to treat all parents equally.

Posted: May 27, 2014

I highly recommend this school ONCE THIS PRINCIPAL IS GONE. My son has been going to this school for 2 years now. Great teachers. Horrible principal. He does not seem to follow religious beliefs and morals he promotes to the parents nor care about whats best for the children. The district needs make some changes ASAP to go back to how great St. Clement's was before.

Posted: April 30, 2014

This school was wonderfull until the new principle came and now kids can't got to the restroom during class because he thinks you smoke

Posted: April 30, 2014

It is not the same as it was before think twice before sending your kid here the only good thing is that the teachers are great

Posted: March 14, 2014

This school used to be amazing. However once a new principal came everything went downhill. Now students can't go to the restroom unless class is over. Also students have to endure the new principal speak very morning for 30 minutes AFTER chapel, which delays classes. On top of this the food is absolutely horrible and extremely unhealthy. The teachers are very good, which is a plus. The newest facility, the CFE, is very good but the older buildings are falling apart. No heating or cooling, only some electricity outlets work, and the internet is almost never working. But, the biggest problem in this school is that there is favoritism. Teachers will target only some students and not the others. Even the principal biased and if some thing happens in the school such as bullying he won't do anything at all. All he does is sit there and smile and say just go talk to him. He needs to enforce the rules he has made. If a students parent makes large donations to the school and the student does something he won't get in trouble. I'm sorry but if I will be paying $10,000 a year to send my kid to school, I want something much better than St.Clements.

My three daughters have been in St Clement's since 2005, oldest just graduated last year. As parents, my husband and I love St. Clement's School as a whole: teachers and staff refer to each student by their name, parents are very involved with school activities to implement changes to make the school better. Feel welcome to learn more about St Clement's achievements and be part of it. You will not regret paying for a great environment for your kids to grow in learning with God and meeting excellent people that will be friends for life!!!
