Worst school in all of lewisville the teachers are disrespectful and the coaches are even worse the kids there hurt your kids they do nothing but fight and mess with others the teachers didnt want to help my kid and other parents that i know also have taken there children out of there because of similar to same issues i had

Pushing it by rating this school 3 stars. Bus riders are not permitted to participate in after school sports if they have to ride the bus to school. I have a job that requires me to start at 7 am. I cannot drive my daughter to school in the morning for practice. Since when does a school have basketball practice in the morning and not after school? The students are behind in their educational expectations and testing ability. The leadership just seems to be following it's course. Drug deals in the parking lots of the businesses just down the street. Not a great neighborhood.

6 months to prepare for return to school and virtual students are treated like unwanted stepchildren. 30 minutes interaction with a teacher each week per class, at most. Kids are being taught by a computer program. If the program doesn't communicate to the school that the child has made positive progress, the child is counted accent for the day. Either you pass, or your counted as absent and didn't try.

Only thirty minutes one-way teacher time per week. Students sit and listen. Not a teaching type of environment.

Less than thrilled. This school has encouraged me to look into home school programs. May as well, my kid is being taught by a computer program anyway. May as well cut out the public school b.s.

The teachers arent there to help you, they just give you the grade and you cant do anything about omit but fail.

Some teachers only discipline depending on who is the favorite. Most teachers are good at what they do, but other are like what I call packet teachers. They give you a packet to do everyday, and dont explain anything. Then they wonder why you fail.

If you arent popular and if you dont have any friends you wont get to be picked for anything. You wont get called on, you just dont get anything that the other kids do. If you arent friendly with your teachers, they wont let you do anything, and they wont give you some space like the other kids get.

The special needs kids do some pretty good things that will help them in the future. So they can get jobs like as a cashier.

A teacher will see bullying happening and say nothing. People say to each other nasty things and then the teachers hear it and do nothing. There wouldnt be fights every week if they listened more and actually cared for and helped the students.

Its okay. The teachers are very nice, but some are very strict. There are a few that are just nasty and bully you more than a peer would. There are rewards for good grades, but not a lot of help for those with bad grades. The electives are nice, but Id like to see more options. The core classes are good. The social studies and history are still alittle annoying (because I dont see the point) but the teachers are still pretty good.

Was not happy with this school! Our son is special needs and is non verbal. He has a severe nut allergy and history of seizures. At the start of the school year I was picking my son up after school and did not see him. So I got out of my car to look for him and see him pacing back and forth. The teacher tells him I'm there and hurries him to come along. I thought maybe he had to go to the bathroom. She then tells me "he ingested a "small piece" of a nutter butter but spit it out and he's fine!" I tell her no he's not! And pick him up over my shoulder and race him to the nurse. Long story short-no signs were posted in classroom or at school about an allergy being in the class. A TEACHER'S AID gave him the snack because he "wanted it". No protocol was followed and they never even took him to the nurse to get looked at. It took me getting out of my car and seeing my son was not well and taking him myself. We were in nurses office for about an hour as he vomited and showed signs of possible seizure. All of this could have been prevented if they took the time follow directions. My son is ok now, but because of it being severe he could've died. The fact that he doesn't talk should've made his teachers more aware and take precautions. We met with principal and told them what happens, they said they would open an investigation about the incident.. got a call a few days later and was told our story checked out but no disciplinary action was taken against the teacher/teacher aid. We pulled him out of her school and transferred him!! This happened 8/2016)

My grandson is in band and he is keeping his grades up to stay there. One subject is a problem and the instructor has extra classes he can attend to help his GPA.

He is learning and growing so much from Durham and their teachers. I have seen him grow as a person.

The teachers help the kids both with their age group and their studies. This is the hardest age group.

The kids have enough time to complete in the class. It then gets done. I also like the teachers keeping the parents up to date.

This school is awesome!!! I love their orchestra class and their staff and teachers are very involving and kind. Go dragons!
