This school prioritizes grades over mental health and is negligent. The teachers there drain the spark of curiosity out of every child and only cares about their outer appearance. When they arent at the top, they berate students for not meeting standards. On the negligence aspect, when a student is being harassed, they either do nothing or the bare minimum. Ive seen children bullied for skin color, learning disabilities, appearance, and more. You can do better than this school.

My children attended this school and now my grandchildren are there. Let me say that these poor reviews are from people with poor character. They are not telling the truth. They are more than likely the type of parents that complain about everything because their children are troublemakers or lazy.
Anyone that wants the truth about the quality of this school merely has to check the test scores. This school and the elementary school next door are constantly recognized and above the state average. PERIOD!!!

As a black student who has been to this school, I can confidently say that there is many microaggressions and racial remarks that get thrown around by the students, (and even sometimes the teachers). I remember the time a kid called me a slave and the n word, I reported it, and do you know what they did? Nothing, they didn't punish him whatsoever, all they did was give a little talk, the next day the kid continued. There are many kids at this school who confidently say the n word, when they truly shouldn't be, and the teachers hear them but it just seems like they brush it off. This school is a joke, they're terrible at discipline, terrible at teaching, and terrible at shaping good students.

Most of them want perfect students ,they forget they're working with TEENS,and even though my kid was a A honor roll student, they'll find something to complain about
Posted: February 28, 2020
Because of the way they lead, students tend to rebel and disrespect
Posted: February 28, 2020
The worry more about students wearing the school hoodie, than how the student is doing academically and emotionally

Poor leadership. Principal, assistant principal and some teachers need to learn how to work with TEENS

As a parent if I can give 0 stars I would because the principal, assistant principals and HR all incite bullying and don't really care about the safety and well being of the children.

This school is a joke. The teachers are no focused at all on student success. My son has been made fun of by a teacher and been embarrassed by his teachers on several occasions. They do not care about the students education or goals at all! The 6th grade principle is also a joke he should have stayed where he came from. He doesn't give students a chance he take teachers side even when they are wrong.
