This school is horrible they let a boy enter and touch on a female and barely took precautions. The teachers are unprofessional they literally hire anyone. My kid will never go here again.

Horn High school is a school that definitely provides the resources for students to succeed, they have qualified teachers who truly care about the students. Unfortunately as a whole it has negative publicity due to the fact that it has around 3000 students and there are alot of students that cause trouble, however that is the responsibility of the parents. We need to take accountability as parents for our students academic success. One of my sons that goes here went to a very prestigious school as so to say and the curriculum or classes they offer was not any better, in the contrary, Horn offered alot more Dual credit classes for students. My son has excelled in both high schools, taking challenging AP/Dual credit courses.

Overall it's like every other school it has its ups and downs. In my opinion they have really great Teachers and leaders, but they just need to push it a little more. I enjoy everyone there.

A parent and teacher
There is room for improvement in the core areas of study like reading, writing, and math....I get some of these students after they leave Horn and they cannot write complete sentences. Teachers and administrators need to invest in extensive professional development and stop wasting time policing untucked uniform shirts.....and peach fuzz on someone's chin. Teachers and parents should be held accountable for the lack of competence that is entering college classes today. When a student is allowed to leave high school and he/she can't read or write, it is the entire districts fault.....

Rude staff. Do not work with patents to fix issues regarding student. Ignore problems until they escalate.

As a former student. I believe the staff was very helpful, especially my counselor Mrs.Pritchard, she really and truly was the best . she motivated me to do my best and on graduation day I knew she was proud of me because I was struggling bad before then. And I also want to thank Mrs.Sagraves, she was also the greatest math teacher ever. She always believed in her students and I disliked the ones that tried to run over her.But thank yall so much !

This school is a fine school. Test scores are above state averages and are at the top of the entire district. This school gets a bad reputation because of the hearsay among local parents that have never taken a step inside the school. You should walk the halls during instruction periods and see that it is a great learning environment for the students. The teachers want the students to succeed and push them to do so. Fine Arts and Athletics are very competitive and successful. I have found the administration to be extremely helpful and they only want what is best for students. It's time to end this school's bad rap based on it's earlier years-time to move on.
