Not letting students be called to the front office till the parents has a arrived is big issue, also the 3:10 early dismissal time shouldnt even be required, theres traffic, family emergencies, etc. If i arrive at 3:13 and need my student picked up i should be allowed to do so. Im not happy with the rules and this is the only school ive had issues with.

I absolutely love the school. The principal is so engaging and makes sure to greet everyone walking in. He will stand outside to open the kids doors to meet and greet both kids ans parents. They have added so many different things like spelling bee and national junior honor society

The administration and teachers have built a culture of learning and support in the past two years than any other time. I have had three other students attend Marine Creek and this by far has been the best two years! I would highly recommend if you want your students to grow and thrive!

My daughter was sexually assaulted by another student (at school) and they let him return a few weeks later! Not only did she have to see him everyday but she has to hear him make comments about her and to other people. To add to it, his girlfriend bullied her until we finally had to take her out of school permanently! Her VP principal had the audacity to ask her if anything was wrong because she seemed different. She went from As and Bs to failing 6 classes! I sent a tik Tok video that was made by the Bully about my daughter and sent it to the principal and superintendent and nothing was done!

My son loves it. His teachers tell me he's super smart and learns quick. I hope it's the truth. If hes doing good I'm not going to risk changing that. They did get a new principal 2 yrs ago. And the ladies in the front office are way nicer then the 2 that were there 3 years ago. HUGE improvement

Teachers are ok, but they are implementing enough structure in their class rooms.

have a 1st and 3rd grader here.. Both of my kids fell behind this year, when I asked each teacher to have a parent teacher conference with me they all said they would text me their opens availability that was 3 month ago and I've never heard from any of the 3 teachers. I also believe my 1st grader has dyslexia and mentioned it to her teacher when asking for the conference and still NOTHING(SHE HAS BEEN IN A SPECIAL READING CLASS SENCE KINDER AND STILL CAN BARELY READ)

I changed school districts in order to get away from this school. I drive my kids 20 minutes out of my way and I live within walking distance of this school.

My Kindergartner moved on to first grade without learning to read or write. I had to change school districts and get him private tutoring. He still struggles to this day.

The principal is always missing in action. I attempted several meeting with the couselor, teacher and principal and he was always too busy.
Posted: March 20, 2019
I asked for testing to be done for my child to see if his poor writing and reading skills were because of an issue he had or ineffective teaching and I was told the testing was unnecessary.

My experience with Marine Creek Elementary 8 out of 10. The school is great and the teachers that I know and that my children have had have been absolutely fantastic.

My son has ADHD and all of his teachers handled him very well at this school and changed their teaching approach with him. It really helped him excel. He has always made good grades, but difficult paying attention and keeping his attention. The teachers at this school are amazing!

My son attended Kindergarten here in 2013-2014 school year. The Good: His teacher was amazing! The school did several fun engaging activities through the year to involve parents and promote reading. What wasn't good: My son very obviously needed to be in speech class and it took the speech pathologist until the last 6 weeks of the school year to get him into speech.

I do not recommend this school at all! My kids have only been here about two weeks & they have been getting bullied with harsh words & even physical! Did I mention they are in pre-k & 2nd grade?! I'm very upset! This never happened at their old school! I do not recommend this school one bit!!!!! I'm hurting inside

The front office staff is very friendly and firm, which is a good thing because safety of the children is their number one concern. So far, I like Mr. Jackson, the principal and so do my kids. My children love their teachers and look forward to coming to school to learn each day!
