This school was the worst, It was constant bullying and kids being weird as heck and I got accused of stuff I didnt even do I do not recommend this school

My children have attended Ascent for the last four years. They have loved every minute of it. The teachers are wonderful! The extracurricular opportunities are fantastic. I have had children who have participated in Orchestra, Theater, Guitar and several sports. They have been supported every step of the way by teachers and faculty! Thank you Ascent!

We have been at Ascent for 4 years and love it! Teachers are wonderful, staff is great, small classroom sizes are a huge benefit. A lot of resources for all learning levels. We are going to year five this year!

The class size are small and there are two teachers one teacher and one teachers assistant per classroom. The SEM program is amazing. The teachers and staff are very attentive and commutative with the parents about school activities and student progress. The principal is dedicated and committed to the success of the students. The Farmington campus of the charter school was recognized as the #1 charter school in Utah for the 2021 year.

I wouldnt waste y time considerig this option as a place of education for any kid. The administration and faculty have no business working with children. NO CLASSROOM MANANGEMENT SKILLS, NO plan for bullying that is a HUGE problem at this school. Its very discouraging, Don't recommend,

As revenue for this corporation (since that is what a charter school is,) is based on enrollment, they have an inherent disincentive to remove problematic kids. Honestly I am shocked they haven't been sued yet for the level of disregard they have for bullying.

We have been at this school for 4 years, since the first year it opened. What was once a cool little school with a lot of promise and a dedicated principal has turned into a cut-rate group of misfit kids and misfit teachers. The adaptive learning options that were part of their initial charter have been completely scrapped. My advice to everyone is stay in your current school.

The school started with great teachers, but they all left after the first year or two. Now more than 50% of the teachers are unlicensed "alternative path to licensure" candidates. Their lack of experience and training is apparent in the quality of instruction and their demeanor with the kids.

Naturally this comes more from the parents than the school, but I am floored by how many MEAN MEAN MEAN kids there are at this school. Judging by interactions with parents in the parking lot or at school events, I can see where they get it from. Sometimes it is downright scary the level of aggression parents show each other, and by way of emulation that kids show each other as well.

I love this school. This is the second year that ascent is open and Lani,the principal, is always trying Tomane the school even better! Teachers, staff, principal and Chef Dave they are amazing.I love the SEM methodology, food is so yummy and made everyday in the school. I have nothing bad to sad about the school. We just moved and I asked my daughter if she wanted to switch school and go in the one by our new house( I didn't want to drive everyday) and she said no, she loves going to ascent!
Lani is the principal and she just loves ascent, she has so much passion for her job and dos a wonderful job!

I know a lot of 8th graders that go to this school and I know a couple of teachers. I have heard great things about this school.
