My boys went to Jennie Dean Elementary. One of my boys started in Special Education class and received the required help. He was able to attend regular 1st grade and beyond, thanks to the help he received.

I had two kids one from KG and the other one from PreK special education and both did very well. Very thankful for the great teachers and staff at Jennie Dean!

Out of my four kids 3 of them attended JD and we have formed very close relationships with a few of the teachers in and outside of school. The front office staff is great but I have to say Im disappointed in the new principal, Mr. Coleman. Never says hello and seems to be very self righteous. Previous principals I felt extremely comfortable talking to and working on issues that may have happened and even for input on teachers, diff methods of teaching thag may help the kids understand better and reliable and sympathetic. The assistant principal, Mr. Mauck is wonderful and seems to have little friendships with a lot of the kids. Im incredibly blessed to live in the JD district and absolutely adore all the holiday parties they throw for the kids :)

I have personal experience about bullying and the school was able to solve it.

The administration and the teachers care about the students and their families! They make learning exciting!

The PTA and Administration of this school work hard to educate the whole child at Dean. Every parent I know from Dean is happy with the quality of their education. The reciprocity with local clubs is a wonderful bonus for this school

I had only heard negative things about this school and was happy to find they were all false! The staff is welcoming and friendly, and know many of the students by name. The teachers are enthusiastic and intuitive. There are many school sponsored activities that create a sense of community that my whole family has been able to enjoy. We had the chance to put our child in a different school this year, but turned down the offer in order to continue the great experience we are having with Jennie Dean Elementary.

I see many caring teachers and staff every time I go into the school. I really like that the students are recognized every nine weeks with awards, including awards for greatest improvement.
