Christiansburg High School has some serious issues, and the biggest problems come from the way its run. The administration consistently fails to address student concerns. Theres a clear lack of accountability from leadership. When problems are brought forward, theyre often dismissed, delayed, or handled in ways that dont actually solve anything. Another major issue is the inconsistency in how rules are enforced. Some students are held to strict standards while others seem to get away with the same behavior.

We moved to Christiansburg just before our son's freshman year of high school. I have been very impressed with the way the teachers and staff have served him. He is thriving with straight A's. They have excellent problem resolution systems in place and have always kept me informed. The academics offered are challenging and the teachers care about their students. Everyone I have met and talked to, from the staff in the office to the vice principal, has been helpful, kind, and professional. I couldn't ask for more.

Every teacher is unique in this school. I dont particularly agree with each of their teaching styles. However, my child has excelled while attending this school.

I have had a lot interaction with the students at this school. The majority of them have pride in themselves along with pride in their school.

The principals here are easy to talk to, and have always made time for communication with not just the parents, but the students as well. They dont wait for small issues to become a big problem before dealing with them.

Weve just recently moved here, but Ive seen a major improvement in my childs overall attitude towards school. Shes involved, and doing extremely well!
