Due to being a part of a military family and having to move around frequently, I have worked in several schools, and I can honestly say this is one of the best schools I have ever worked at. There is a strong sense of community, students are excited to come to school and have built positive relationships with teachers. If my students were still school-aged, I would definitely bring them to school with me.

Worst experience ever!!!! My son was bullied until we moved and got him away from that school!
He was in kindergarten and two students that I believe were brothers would hit my son every day at recess and not let him play on anything! The teacher was older with knee problems and would sit in the bench at recess. My son told her what was happening and she told him do not be a tattle tail. She told me she never saw anything however other students were told not to play with my son and it got worse. He tryed to avoid them by not having free time with the students instead going to art or on a tablet because those were his safest areas. I told the principal multiple times and met with her and she said that the students apologized to Anthony but she believes it is a misunderstanding because bullying doesn’t happen in kindergarten. It got worse now my son has no choice but to fight back and THEN HE GETS IN TROUBLE not the other students. Also at this point my son can not concentrate on learning and is sad every day at school and his grades are going down. I REPEAT WORSE SCHOOL EVER!!! so glad I got my son out of there but sadly he still has sad memories and feelings of loneliness and betrayal.

The Principle and Vice principle are at all school functions . Teachers seem happy and supported.

Lots of extra support and programs for kids who need it. The reading and speech services are wonderful.

My daughter is only in kindergarten but we do 10-15 mins of homework a day. Sight words, numbers, coins and reading.

All the teachers and staff are friendly and professional. They encourage parents to volunteer and be active in your child's education .

Teachers are blind to bullying and students with special needs are bullied and made fun of with no consequences.

My son is in kindergarden had a problem with his glass mate making fun of him and pushing him on play ground. I told principal they talk to child made him apologize but it continued my son then got bullied by that classmate and his friend and they said they would punch my son in the face then he hit them back in class and got a yellow face when he told his teacher she said ahe didnt see it she just sees him hitting the 2 boys and not stay in his seat....i then cintacted the school again to be told its probably a misunderstanding that kindergarteners arent bullies at that age. Then my son came home and said he only has 3 friends now his classmate told everyone not to play with my son. And my son got in trouble again for playing by himself at recess on the big kid toys with our neighbor he saw at recess. Horrible school

The teachers in this school are personally involved in the success of their students. One of my sons is ahead of the other students in his learning progress and is receiving personal attention to his curriculum that assures he is being challenged. My other son is in the gifted program and robotics club and really enjoys his days here. There are many cultures here and it contributes to their becoming well rounded individuals. I can only assume that lower test scores are due to the many non-native speakers, but the personal attention by staff assures each student is reaching their highest potential. As a former military family with prior access to dozens of schools, I can honestly say that our family loves this school!

As I read the previous reviews on this school I am confused as to what school they have been in. I have 2 children, one now in middle school and the other starts middle school in the fall, they both started Loch Lomond in K. Loch Lomond is an amazing school! The teachers have been wonderful, in all grade levels. Mr. Horan has and is an amazing principal, you will not find a better man and anyone to care about each an every student and staff member. Maybe these other parents from these reviews should get involved and spends some time at the school, it makes absolutely no sense what they are saying. EVERY staff member at this school functions as a team and are all about the students and giving them a great education. My kids love every part of being a student at Loch Lomond. If you live in this district or are considering moving into it, I can promise you a wonderful experience and education at Loch Lomond. If my kids could stay there believe me they would! We are all going to miss the staff on all levels!!!!

Seems to me the new principal is more concerned about getting his picture taken and boasting and not getting any of the hard work done. From what I have heard, he does not support the staff. Have you seen how many teachers have left since he came in? School is not just about the material things you have, it is about keeping good teachers and staff and caring about the students. My children have gone there for years, sorry, we do not like the new principal. He seems pompous. The old principal was very involved and cared about what the parents had to say. The school has gone downhill. Whoever wrote the last post is wrong. I understand one staff member leads the principal around by the nose. She probably wrote it.
