My kids are never overwhelmed with homework. I find they are given an appropriate amount for their grade level, and it gives them plenty of time to play when they come home.

I have had one instance where we needed to address my child getting teased. I brought it to the attention of the counselor who mediated the situation, and then it was no longer a problem for the rest of the year.

Several Teachers do not know how to respect the students. I do not see much individual needs / learning styles applied. I the student does not understand the student is left behind

Some teachers are lacking in integrity, compassion and respect towards the students. My child is very stressed to go to school. My child said that some teachers have physically abused

Some are and some aren't. My oldest is in 3rd grade and she has had 1 teacher that I absolutely loved and that I feel worked wonders with her.

CMES is a great school! Several of the teachers have won numerous and or have been nominated for teachers awards. The staff is great and genuinely care about the students education and safety. They score great on their SOL's and my kids enjoy going to school there. It's a great community of teachers, staff and parents. Ms. West is truly a good principal and has turned CMES into a great place to learn!

My school is very clean and the staff seems very nice. The staff is so good that they don't even ask for volunteers to help in many of the classrooms. That is the only thing that I find disturbing about this school. I think they are cheating the students when they don't let parents and grandparents help.

This is our first introduction in to the PWC school system. We are only in the 4th week of school, so I am only able to say so far the Principal has been very good in meeting with us and discussing our needs and concerns. Over all the school seems to be struggling with organization, but it only the first month of the school year.

We have had a wonderful experience at McAuliffe! My daughter attended K and 1st grade here with excellent teachers who make sure all the students in their care are challenged according to their abilities. The principal is always looking for new ideas to keep the students engaged in learning and the new after school enrichment programs offered this year were fa great testament to her and her staff's work.
