this school is absolutely horrible for kids with disabilities such as autism. from flat out refusing to except her diagnosis, making us write notes so she doesnt have to do SOLs because she wont pass them to having my kid put in jail for elopement. I would advise anyone and everyone who has a child with a disability not to send their kids to the school.

When choosing a home, one of the requirements was that it be located in Richmond County in order for our two children to be eligible to attend the Richmond County Public School System. We have had one child graduate and the second will graduate, with honors, in two weeks. Academics and scholastic activities are well balanced. I have wittnessed first-hand the principal's interaction with the students. He attempts to defuse problems before they arise. It is without reservation that I recommend the Richmond County Public School System...the best in the Northern Neck and Middle Penninsula. Go Raiders!
