The only good thing in this school is the 6th grade history teachers & the band teacher, Mr. Chen (the band teacher) He is the best teacher I've ever had! Along with Mr. Biscoe (one of the 6th grade history teachers), I've heard a lot of good things Mr. Binns (another 6th grade teacher) even though I've haven't had him.
But this school doesn't handle with bullying at all. I would & wouldn't recommend this school, it's in the middle. But I'll say not recommend

I would NEVER recommend this school to anyone. The bullying here is horrendous, with racism, sexism and the like. Emotional stress is awful and teachers blame the child rather than looking in the mirror for mistakes. Education wise? Sure, they teach the curriculum. But socially, this place is terrible.

My son has been in this school not even 6 months and it has been nothing but one problem after another. I am not at all the type of parent who thinks their child does no wrong, but I am the type of parent who can tell when my child isn't completely to blame. They have no interest in helping a child, only punishing them. I can't speak for all the teachers, but the ones I have had to deal with have been rude. They want to place blame on the child but don't want to take any responsibility for their short comings. They will tell you every bad thing about your child, as if we, as parents, don't know. But, when questioned about their own qualifications and their inability to adequately do their job, they cut you off and tell you they won't continue with the conversation. All I can say is if you are reading this and you have a child who is going to attend this school, I highly recommend you reconsider.

Staff is extremely helpful. The kids are up to standards on academics and if they fall behind they have multiple resources to help.
