We relocated from Tennessee in the last 9 weeks of 2016. My son has made tremendous improvement at this Elementary school. Positive reinforcement makes a huge difference for my son. He made the honor roll! I never thought that would happen for my child. Great teachers. Great staff.

This school is exceptional, incredible, amazing...should I keep going? The teachers are proactive with parents and children. They continue to keep education levels above par so the children are well prepared. The atmosphere is loving, respectable to all and administrators are attentive to the needs of children whether it be academically, socially or otherwise. The award for Great School in Virginia is well deserved.

I have been working at RELEE Elementary for over 10 years. The faculty is dedicated, hard working, highly trained, and passionate about student success. The majority of parents support the school and share our expectations for student behavior and learning. Children are not allowed to fail and the faculty goes way above and beyond the job requirements to make sure all children experience success.

We have been pleased with the staff interaction with our children. Our children are alway excited about coming to school and we hear of positive relationships our children experience at R.E.Lee Elementary. I love Robert E Lee Elementary because it's a small school in a great community! It's one of the few left that still have that "homey" feel to it. I felt that from the moment I walked in, and felt it even more last year when my Mom (who is 62) came to the Grandparent's day lunch at school and smiled and said not much has changed, as I learned she went to elementary school there as a child too! It's full of great teachers and a great staff, and I know virtually everyone there by either name or face, who know me as well.

My son waits by the door at least 10 minutes early every day, with his lunch box in his hand and his bookbag on. I believe this to be a testament to the quality of his school.

This is a great school with great teaches and staff but only has a small handful of parental volunteers. Any parent not happy with this school needs to get more involved.

This is the second year my granddaughter has attended RE Lee after transferring from another Spotsylvania County ES and I have volunteered at both. The teachers and staff at RE Lee have shown as much interest in nourishing the students as teaching. This school as also been very receptive to new ideas and programs to challenge and benefit the students as well as the school.

All four of my children have attended REL. The teachers and staff have been great with all of my kids. I cannot say enough about what they have done for my children's future.

The teachers at this elementary go above and beyond in their jobs. The teachers give of their own time to help their students with their education and expect no compensation or praise. I can not express in words my heartfelt gradatuded to the teachers of this school. Spotsylvania County is very blessed to have these teachers teaching the young people of this community.

When I walk into Robert E. Lee Elementary School,it's as if I've walked into an old country store where everyone knows your name and your family. Teachers always smile and great me, teachers always call my children by their name, even if it's a teacher my child has not had and the administrative staff is excellent. I just have to walk in and they usually know why I'm there. The custodian, Cindy, will bring in treats for the children and is always there with a hug and a smile. I love Robert E. Lee and will be sad when my children leave for middle school.

My fifth grader is an honors student at Robert E. Lee Elementary. Recently he informed us that he would like to fail fifth grade so that he can remain there rather than move on to six grade in another school. This indeed says a lot about the school.

My son loves and thrives in this school. His teachers have been extremely talented, driven and above all caring with each student. Teachers go above and beyond what is expected of them to get the class to go above and beyond what they are capable of. The result, children who learn enthusiastically and love to show it off. RE Lee has shown it takes a whole school of faculty and staff to teach a child and everyday they show how much the children mean to them.

I am a mother of 10 children, some speacial needs. The R.E.L. Staff is great with working with parents and students. The school has always been very helpful and compassionate when dealing with some of the situations we've run into as parents. The teachers are wonderful and accepting of any child that comes threw their door.

The staff at Robert E. Lee are so compassionate and dedicated to the students. My son absolutely loves going to school and there has not been one day this entire school year that he has complained about going. His teacher, Ms. Hord, is amazing. She is kind, patient and makes learning fun. I never worry about my son when he's at school. Thank you staff at Robert E. Lee for making my son's first year of school so wonderful.

Awesome school! Can't say enough good things about the staff from the administration to the teachers right down to the custodians. My son was at this school for K-5 and my daughter is still there and is in 3rd. Love the close knit, family environment.

I love Robert E. Lee Elementary because it currently provides excellent educational needs to my fourth grade son and it provided a wonderful experience and premier education to my daughter, Brooke who graduated from R. E. Lee last year. The curriculum, principal, faculty and entire school staff prepared my daughter for middle school and continues to provide a positive, educational and recreational environment for my son, Michael. They both enjoy(ed) attending R. E. Lee Elementary. Thank you, we love R. E. Lee Elemntary!

I went to that elementary school, my 3 children have either attended or is attending the school presently. The entire staff is professional, courteous, and willing to help with anything you need. Not to mention R. E. Lee has the best PTA in the county!!!!! Go Mustangs!

I love Robert E. Lee Elementary School because the parents, teachers, and students work as a community to educate the students. We have very dedicated teachers and administration that spare no effort to give the best to our students, school, and community!
