I Would not recommend at all. As a parent my daughter moved schools due to move for one of her parents jobs. We thought a small rural school would be better. We had a better experience at an iner- city school in Portsmouth Va. This school pushed state testing to the extreme. To the point my daughter as anxiety about school.
Thankfully this year my daughter has a new teacher . The majority of the staff is very unwelcoming with a select few that are wonderful. This agin is my Personal opinion as a parent! Bus rides are long but we have been blessed with the best of the best ! The middle school is almost to the next county! We will be looking at other options this fall.

When it feels like the staff and principal are bullying the parents then how can they effectively deal with the subject with the students

worst I have every had, I have never had a school that treated some parents with the most disrespect you have seen. I would not send my kids hear and I would not buy a home here if I could do it all over again

sometimes homework comes home and some weeks there is none or a list of items they can do in place of homework for a ticket to win a prize

These teachers play follow the leader with the Principal and they will bend the truth to get to there goal and it almost feels like the adults or the bullies over the kids

I can not answer that as if they is no integrity compassion respect with the staff and principal then how can they teach it

There are no words to describe what I feel about the leadership at this school. I would almost sell my home to get my kid out of this school

This school uses kids with learning differences to get funding and they are treated different (bullied)

I was a teacher here in the early 1980s. I got my start in my career here. I am so pleased that Washington District is still doing so well. It was a good school then and apparently still a good school now. T. Cole
