While some teachers are encouraging and dedicated, there are others (especially the older staff) who are disrespectful and insensitive. Textbooks are also in dire need of updating, since these are very old. The school is small, and you'd think that the student community is close-knit, but bullying and rudeness prevail with ineffective countermeasures. We treat this as a learning curve for our student to toughen up, but will be looking to other schools for a more nurturing environment.

We transferred our daughter to St. Anthony of Padua after experiencing racial incidents, lack of an academic challenge and engagement at another private school in the area. Four months in, it is clear our decision to transfer our daughter was the right one for our family. St. Anthony is the most diverse school in the diocese, and the principal is extremely accommodating and welcoming. She arranged a tour the same day we called about the school, set up a shadow day and welcomed us to the school as a new transfer with my daughter starting at the school the following trimester. She understood our need to find a school where our daughter felt accepted, could be engaged both academically and socially. Our daughter is happy, likes her teachers, feels engaged in class and has made some great friends, which is huge when transitioning to a new school. The school has wonderful events and after school activities that contributes to the warm community, family like vibe at the school. The staff, students and families has made the transition to middle school a nurturing and welcoming experience for our daughter. We look forward to the next two years at St. Anthony with our daughter and transitioning out younger son to St. Anthony for middle school. We feel blessed to have found St. Anthony for our children.

My children have thrived academically, socially, and spiritually since joining St. Anthony in 2021. We love the community, the faculty, and the church. In particular, St. Anthony’s Title 1 educators and resources have proven to be amazing for my son, who was lagging after a subpar Covid era school experience. Thanks to the added one-on-one attention he has received, he is nearly fully caught up. Cannot recommend St. Anthony enough!

We've been with Corpus Christi since 2014, Pre-K3, this school is amazing, the stuff is very friendly, the teachers are always on the lookout to help the students learn effectively and create an excellent educational environment, no to mention the wonderful new Principal Ms. Nora Buçaj, who is a young professional, with experience and great vision for the school.
My son(1st grader) who has some speech and academic challenges has learned a lot, he is very confident and even tho it is difficult for him to learn the sounds of each letter the teacher miss Boak and Title I Ms Furlong has work hard with him, with love and patience they helped him improve.

I currently have 2 students at the school, one in 5th and one in 1st grade. My 1st grade student has some academic and sensory challenges. I believe both her teachers and the administration have gone out of their way to help her and meet her needs, within a catholic school setting. I also feel that the principal has been very caring and compassionate in dealing with my child's differences and has worked with us to problem solve each situation as it has come up.
Overall I believe that the school provides an excellent moral foundation and strong academics. Mrs Bonard does an excellent job hiring teachers, and she profoundly cares about the school, she is truly devoted to it.

I am a current parent of a student in Corpus Christi. We have had academic issues with our child and the principal and teachers went above and beyond to help Us AND our child overcome obstacles. We have been with the school since kindergarten- yes- some teachers have left and retired... Sad when anyone leaves especially good teachers, but it happens and good teachers have also come in! Not to mention- the teachers that left have already been back to sub for other teachers- so just bc a teacher retires or moves on- doesn't mean it's bc of a negative reason. The private schools are NOT going to offer the same resources as public schools- and having one child on an IEP and at a public school- I can tell you- u have to put your child where they will excel best. People need to be realistic with their expectations... U want/need extra services for your child but yet want them to go to Corpus Christi- provide an aide. I leave my son at Corpus Christi everyday knowing that he is safe and getting well educated. I personally saw Mrs Bonard the other day comfort two little girls who were scared to get on the bus- she talked the girls through their fears and walked them onto the bus herself and stayed with them until they were comfortable. She goes above and beyond caring for the kids. Yes, the office staff has changed but I'd rather them change staff to Better the school than to just settle for anyone! I would recommend the school to anyone looking for a smaller private school to get good consistent care and solid academics for your child!

As the parent of a child that struggled I found the staff and principle very unhelpful. The communication between parents and teachers regarding progress and updates was poor. The principle was very defensive when confronted with shortcomings by her staff. She is not an advocate for students or parents. The shortcomings were evident to a majority of the parents in the class. The principle should be open minded and an advocate for the parents and their children, that is not the case at Corpus Christi. The tutoring and other resources available are very limited. I'm sorry to say I would not recommend this school.

I found the staff and principle to be very close minded and unable to treat all students equally.

We're a family that entered the school last year from the preschool and it's been a huge disappointment. The preschool was such a nurturing environment with Ann Stich as the preschool director. She was always very kind and willing to listen and answer any questions we had. Last year while volunteering I found the principal, to be very unfriendly and disrespectful. There was a revolving door regarding the front office, pretty sure they went through at least three different staff members in the office last year. I think that's an indication of the lack of leadership and inability to work with the principal. We saw 2 amazing teachers retire and 2 other teachers leave, which doesn't contribute to the continuity of teaching. Turnover is never a good sign. We have placed our name on wait lists for two other schools, St Agnes and St James. Really wish someone had warned us about the school.

Do not feel all students are treated equally which fosters an air of unfairness. All students should be seen as clean slates and that is not the case with this school.

With 4 children who are attending Corpus Christi, we can prove that we are very pleased with the school. The principle is very engaged and energetic. We find the school as a friendly environment. We love the fact that the principle, teachers, staffs and parents all work together for the best of the students.

Our daughter is a new student at Corpus Christi this year, and she couldn’t be happier! She has immediately connected with the teachers and her classmates. Children are so kind and extremely welcoming to new kids. This is such a friendly and diverse school community; it immediately makes new families feel at home. One of our main considerations in selecting Corpus is the strong emphasis it places on excellence in academics, and in providing an all-around faith-based education to our children. This has been fully validated. The teachers are caring and attentive in addressing student’s inquiries during class. They guide students’ organization both in the classroom and on the daily work assigned, which is incredibly helpful in keeping them focused on task and meet their expectations for the next day. The online communication system (HomeworkNow) used by the school is highly efficient, helping both students and parents stay up to speed on scheduled work assignments and other important classroom information. The academic instruction is strongly supported by the number of extracurricular activities they promote. The variety of clubs and enrichment activities that are facilitated, to include Band, Choir, and CYO sports among others are exemplary. The school’s rich environment is only reflective of the selfless dedication and strong, positive leadership from its Principal. Having transferred from another school in the Diocese where she attended for the past 3 years, there is no doubt in our minds that we made the right choice and that Corpus Christi is the right place for our daughter. We highly recommend it to any parent that wishes for their kids to thrive!

I highly recommend Corpus Christi School. My children have been going there for the past five years and we have been very happy the sense of community we have experienced. The school fosters academic excellence through its highly experienced and qualified teachers and rigorous curriculum. At the same time, the school nurtures cultural arts appreciation through its art and music departments and yearly programs such as Night of the Arts, Art Show, Choir and Band Performances, and Christmas Pageant. Every teacher we've had has been responsive. The current principal is extremely dedicated to continuously improving the school. The school has vastly improved under her energetic and positive leadership. We've also greatly appreciated the cultural and economic diversity that Corpus Christi represents. In addition, Corpus Christi has a very active PTO which offers numerous opportunities for families to engage with and support the school. My child has enjoyed being part of the school's athletic programs. In short, we feel blessed to be part of the Corpus Christi community and feel our kids are getting a quality education, in a diverse and safe environment.

The school has been renovated and looks great ! The teachers keeps changing and the new principal Is rude, has no respect for the Parents and thinks she can yell at any one. It will be a nice school without her. So sad!

We've been really happy with Corpus Christi. Our two kids transferred from International schools overseas this past year, and they LOVE Corpus Christi. Their classes are really friendly, their teachers are good, and the material is challenging (in a good way). My 3rd grade daughter is catching up in math, and Mrs. Menzies, the Kindergarten teacher, is wonderful. We appreciate the weekly reports on the kids' progress -- I felt out of touch at their last (PYP) school, and it's great to feel more involved in what they're doing. I also love that the school is so diverse, and there are kids from all over the world. It's a great community.

Corpus Christi school has been an excellent choice for our family. It is an extension of our parish community and provides a well rounded academic, spiritual and fun extracurricular environment. Hands down the faculty is top notch, with several there 10+years. A new principal, multiple class tracks, and several facility improvements and refurbishments, have enhanced our experience. It has wonderful green space with a large playground and field. We also utilize the after care program, which has greatly improved this year with the development of a structured schedule that includes homework time, play time, free time and healthy snacks in addition to physical activity in the gym. Big plus! The program also has a dedicated director, assistant director and a compliment of staff. Care is also available on early dismissal days and teacher work days and can be included in overall cost depending on the offered plans. For these reasons and more we highly recommend Corpus Christi School.

This year extended day program is terrible, hopefully it will be changes in the future. For now, don't leave your kids in extended day.

This school is good. However the principal tends to misunderstand some kids. Also the school is very strict. Some teachers are awesome but a few teachers tend to over-react a bit. Overall it's a pretty good school but has some blemishes

My children have been attending Corpus Christi for several years now. There has been a lot of changes in the school administration during that time. The newest principal has taken a real interest in the school and in getting to know the children and parents. The school has a strong focus on education and academic excellence. On the down side, sometimes my third grader is too overloaded with homework in the evenings and the teacher isn't always good about updating the homework web site so that my husband and I know what assignments are due when and when the exams are. The class room sizes are smaller than other schools which is one of the reasons that we chose the school. My elder child is very shy and performs better in smaller groups. The school has a well balanced curriculcum with poetry and art contests, Christmas pageant, choir, Spanish language class, computer lab and a library.
