Our daughter began school at Grace in Kindergarten (2021). Now, as a fourth grader, we continue to love the school, the environment, and the mission. She is taught by the most committed and caring educators! They listen, they challenge, and they support all scholars! Not only do they hold her accountable for being a good person, they give her practical opportunities to be a good person- reading to/helping younger scholars, setting/cleaning up school events, taking pride in physical school environment as examples. Educator- parent- scholar communication is highly supported and encouraged! GCA is a community that impacts much further than the school walls. We highly recommend GCA for any family looking for an amazing and well-rounded K-4 through 8th grade education!
*This review indicated 3 stars supporting special education needs- GCA is a small school and special education support services may be limited, however, without a doubt, I know the school would help a family find the right educational resources if GCA couldnt provide what a scholar needed to be successful.

I have three kids enrolled at GCA, and it's been a wonderful experience. The academics are great and all the faculty and staff are extremely dedicated and invested in the children. This school is a real gem!

I had 3 children attend here and we loved the school. My children were challenged academically with caring staff and small class sizes. Before and aftercare make it convenient for working parents.

We were so fortunate to find Grace Christian Academy. Our kids are really embracing the academic rigor and the strong Christian values that underscore the curriculum. They have been more considerate, respectful and responsible, which is benefitting our entire family in immeasurable ways.

We were concerned about homework, but our kids are encouraged to maximize study halls and complete their work early. They are eager to finish first thing if they do bring it home (which is rare) and its teaching them excellent study habits.

The teachers at Grace were one of the biggest selling points for us. They are knowledgeable, kind, firm and fair. It was so reassuring to know that we would have educators that were really looking out for the best needs of our kidsand nurturing them in every way.

They are in tune with the specific need of each individual.

Great school! We are new here to Grace this year and our family has been welcomed and made to feel very much at home. I was very concerned about the transition period initially, however my child absolutely loves the school, the curriculum and the structure (plus flexibility) that is provided here at Grace. The staff knows my child and understands what she needs to help her excel in her education. In addition, I can not say enough about the Christian foundation she is learning which mirrors our christian values at home.

They encorage students to be responsible and give 1 hr extra time for power hour to complete assignments and ask teachers questions. This gives maximum time to continue learning, while showing support and minimizing excess homework brought home. The balance is good.

I'm regularly thankful that my kids are in a supportive, kind environment where they are not only being taught academics, but also how to be a good human being. The students are not just a number, and instead there's a personalized approach to each student's needs.

While they don't have the resources to deal with significant special needs, each child is approached on a very individual level and given extra attention as needed to help them keep up and thrive.

Bullying is not tolerated, and it is addressed on both a practical level and a moral one, in the context of what is--and what is not--Christian behavior.
Posted: January 12, 2018
The teachers and administrative staff are great models of behavior. The school has rules and clear expectations for performance and behavior but (appropriately) lots of grace too as kids adjust or go though rough patches.
Posted: January 12, 2018
The principal sets the tone of goodwill, high standards, and collegiality and it is always clear his heart is with the students. He is out front of the school every morning with a high five, encouraging word, or joke for each kid and they glow at the attention.

Kids start getting simple homework assignments fairly early, and are given time after school ("Power Hour") to work on it and can work with a teacher at that time if needed. It is enough to instill discipline and ownership of their own work but not enough to cause stress or pressure.
Posted: January 12, 2018
I couldn't think more highly of the teachers! They are knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely care about the kids. (And the feeling is mutual--our kids love their Grace teachers!)

I love everything about Grace Lutheran. My daughter has been there for two years now, and has been surrounded by a loving, learning, and creative environment. We are in constant contact with her teacher, as well as the principal. My daughter loves the reading program (the "SuperKids") -- it is her favorite part of the day. The facilities are great. Nice classrooms, lockers (even for the little K4 and K5 kids), playground, common areas. They have regular field trips, music and art. In the end, I truly feel that I am part of the Grace family, and that Grace cares about my child.

I can not express enough how much I LOVE Grace and their faculty! As a mother of 3 girls, everything I was looking for and wanted for my them, Grace has met & exceeded every expectation! NO other school, and I mean, NO OTHER SCHOOL can compare to the love, warmth, sincerity, academic challenges, and all-around geniune nature that Grace's faculty gives to each and every child. The teacher's are always accessible, whether it be by phone, email, text or face-to-face, they always stop to talk to you. The principal has a God-given gift to inspire each child to work hard and give their %110! Grace is truly home away from home; they are our extended family and I love them to pieces!!
