elementary is great, but after 6th grade the education goes downhill. there are not enough teachers, so a lot of the good teachers have to take on too much responsibility. a couple of my friends felt uncomfortable at the school and felt ostracized by some of the students due to their identities. many of the textbooks are outdated, and several of them are from the 90s or early 2000s. overall, the majority of the teachers are very dedicated to the students and the school, but i do not think that they are adequately compensated for the amount of tasks they are required to do. the high school coursework is rigorous, with little to no accommodations provided to students who may be struggling. in conclusion, i would not recommend this school to middle or high school students.

Our elementary experience was positive, especially when there was a separate administrator for the elementary building. As our kids got older, we realized that the leadership of the school is lacking accountability to anyone. Over the 10 years that we were involved, the same problems came up repeatedly and although parents and the board tried to resolve them, it seemed like the power rested with only certain people. Our kids made some good friends, a lot of the teachers were great, but by the time we were finished with the school it was drastically different from when we began (less students, a lot less teachers, only 1 campus).

Our kids did K-12 at Dayspring and we have loved it. Like all schools, there are challenges and the school struggles financially so that they can keep the cost reasonable for families. There are great opportunities to get involved in your child's education here and my experience is that the more involved you are, the more positive your experience will be. This was a safe place for our kids to make mistakes and find grace while being challenged academically and absolutely prepared for college.

It is such a loving community. Teaching caters to different learning styles. Outstanding in comparison to public schools. Administration is consistent in discipline and serves with Grace and love

You will not find a more loving environment for your children in this area. The staff are not only well equipped in every area but are also open to growing in many ways. Children are cared for on every level, spiritual, academic and emotional. Issues are dealt with fairly and swiftly. Parental involvement is strongly encouraged as it strengthens the community. You get out of this school what you put into it...the more you show up the more it shows up for you! Test scores of the kids here are consistently on par or above public schools. Tuition is reasonable and can be changed depending on needs. Bullying is confronted and not tolerated.

School needs to work on building Christian character and Biblical leadership. The school tends to be a lot like a smaller version of public school, with several cliques and frequent bullying in the higher grades. Academics are great in the elementary grades, but tend to be lack luster in the higher grades with fewer accredited teachers. Tuition is rather expensive given the rundown conditions of the school.

School does not handle bullying at all; personally know multiple families that have left because bullying issues have not been effectively handled by administration.

This is the best school I have ever been involved in. Dayspring is a breath of fresh air compared to other Christian schools. The academics are phenomenal (AP classes abound at the high school level), there are plenty of extracurricular activities to be involved in, and the students are great! Students benefit from the smaller class sizes and amazing, self-less, professional teaching staff who have a good balance between nurturing and disciplining. The consistent, compassionate leadership of the administration creates an environment where teachers, students and parents can feel free to communicate their concerns. My kids have really blossomed and grown here; it wouldn't have been possible anywhere else.
