Absolutely terrible. The school does not care about students mental well being. Teachers were disrespectful and not well educated on the topics they were teaching. It did not cultivate a safe atmosphere for sharing and expressing views, it also did not encouraged learning, challenging oneself, or doing research about topics that were meaningful or interesting to students outside of school. Overall very poor experience, and would not recommend the school.

This is the best school ever!! Both of my children graduated from heritage. I highly recommend this school. If I could donate money that will help children attend the best of the best Christian schools. This is where I'd support.

this school is absolutely atrocious. from the inexperienced teachers, to the UNBELIEVABLY HEAVY UNNECESSARY work load, my child cries and had a panic attack because of this school! nothing is ever done about anything. just a bad school and not a good environment for kids/teens. sometimes however, you do run into some actual GOOD teachers. but this is VERY-VERY rare. my kids never felt welcome here, and were constantly stressing and crying. just not a good school at all.

My husband and I absolutely love this school! They taught my five year old to read like a second/third grader and write in cursive in just a few months. The program they follow has been proven to work and make children to much more ahead than their peers. Also, the teachers are very loving and caring towards the children. They are strict which I love because this reinforces obedience and good character, but they are also very loving. Even when my daughter got in trouble, her teacher would remind her that she loves her and she just wants her to make the right choice. She never felt unloved in any moment of her school year. I also love the values they teach. They are a Jesus centric school. My daughter learned 37 verses in the school year and reinforced valuable lessons we teach them at home that promote love, kindness and respect towards each other.

Homework reinforces what they learn in class. What they don’t finish in class is sent home. The more disciplined the child the less homework they have.

The teachers truly care about each individual child’s academic and spiritual growth. It takes a village to raise children, and I feel that my boys wouldn’t be who they are today if it weren’t for the teachers and pastors at HCS.

There is a 0 tolerance for bullying at school; however, students who choose to be disobedient or disrespectful are not tolerated by peers; therefore, they may feel bullied into behaving and mindful of there language.

Very good. Our children are learning so much and being exposed to a biblical world view that compliments all they have experienced. We are blessed to have such a terrific private school in our area.

This private school gives homework to challenge our children to develop disciplines in order to be effective and productive adults. As a parent I welcome that.

I believe the school has knowledgeable, God-fearing teachers who genuinely care for the students. They are not perfect, but way better on average than what the public schools offer.

Bullying always happens and from what I've seen the school addresses the matter the best they can with the available information they have. With social media a lot of bullying is happening online without the school's knowledge. In those cases, Parents need to talk to Parents.

The strict curriculum compounded with inexperienced teachers only motivates students to cheat on homework. Respect for authority is forced and not taught. Furthermore teachers single out students who do not participate in ODACS or are part of the church.

There is no support for bullying in the school. My child has felt bullied by the teachers on many occasions. My child has not felt bullied by any students which is a positive side.

This school favors the staff kids and those who tithe to the church over outsiders and it shows in a disciplinary setting.

We witnessed first hand that they try and ignore/hide racist bullying by students. Specifically a 3rd grade child who would pick on African American children, using the N word, curse words and even assaulting one female student- where the police had to be called. The offender was suspended for a few days then brougth right back into the same classroom. Their answer was to remove the victim from the class....not the offender. They then went on to try and blame the victim by saying she should not have talked to him because she knew how he felt about her.
We spoke to Pastor Kosa about what was going on who did not wish to hear any of it. We had to pull our children out of there to protect them from the behavior they allow and ignore.

I looked at the stats that they have at the bottom of this page and it is incorrect it says that there are 13 students per teacher this is erroneous. Like one of the other review says there is anywhere from 28 to 30 children in a class. Also there is favoritism as far as the faculty's children and family members. I know because my children went to this school from 1St grade to the 9th grade.
