This school can be described with one singular word: BORING. Everyday, us students wake up at 6 and some people wake up at 5, just to go to this jail hidden behind the name of school. This place is terrible. Fights every single day, teachers don’t care, the students are so rude, the atmosphere feels like a stormy rainy day, and the way the school is ran sucks too. The electives are not fun, the teachers have the most boring assignments ever, if you’re lucky you might get a teacher that does some fun things but that’s like finding a needle in a haystack. There are so many stupid presentations and teachers don’t understand how much some people with social anxiety hate presenting in front of everyone. The students are rude and will definitely judge you. Teachers that teach the special needs kids treat them like toddlers. The schedule sucks too, everyday I run across the school just to not be tardy. Another thing that is terrible is something called unity time lessons. It’s so boring and takes up my ENTIRE unity time.. The lessons have taught me nothing. The only thing good about this school is getting to see my friends. Everything else sucks. If any parents read this, if you can, PLEASE choose another middle school for your kids to attend.

As a student here I don't believe you should come here. The amount of fights and bullying that goes on here is insane and the teachers don't do anything about it. They worry about small things that don't even matter rather than focusing on real problems at our school. Not only that but the teachers almost never make it fun to learn anything. They also don't motivate you to learn or do your work at all. There are some teachers that are good here, but then again i've met teachers who are biased with their students. Overall its your choice but I wouldn't recommend it.

to be honnest this school has its upside downs for example: The after school programs are amazing and I look forward to that most days. But the school itself has bullys but to be fair so does literallly every school the teachers try but not perfect but ye not terrible but not great.

Teachers provide extra help to get your grades up after school, and they don't get mad when you ask questions. Academic-wise, this school is great, but its downfall is its safety. Students are racist (I know this because I'm Asian and I get picked on) and constantly pick fights for no reason at all. Adults are somewhat trustworthy, and teachers are spectacular at teaching. Overall, I would recommend this school due to its education, but if you want to raise your grades at the cost of your safety, it's not my problem.

This school has negative comments but is now trying to improve a lot. I can tell that staffs and teachers put their effort on making a better way.

I hope they continue working and improving it

This school does not support the children in it, they put school before the childs mental health. I would know. They dont protect us, last year there was many incedents where they had to bring in ambulances. Thats how bad it got. They dont even stop bulling when it happens, but yet they have lessons on it. I honestly dont recomend this school at all.

I am a student in liberty middle school 2022-2023. This year has been hectic. There have been constant fights, Harassments, School shooting threats, Constant rumors being spread, And ambulances at this school in the first two months of school this year. This school is a mad house and not fun to be at. There is sooooo much homework that I don't have time for after school curriculums

I am a current student at LMS in 2022-2023. Last year there was so much fights but rules are enforced and our Principle Mr. is awesome. There is also a few security people making sure everyone is safe. There were a few fights but they either stopped or staff break em up. I recommend this school for concerned parents about bullying and harassments. This School changed since last year.

Lets just say that this school isn't doing really well. There are often fights that happen and people don't do anything about it, not even the students! And they give out ridiculous amounts of homework making it hard to keep up with. I even hear classmates say bad words in front of administrators and they don't do anything about it! So this school is still bad.

Posted: January 24, 2019

4/10. Again, all by the book. No one seems to want to be there. Teachers only like the children who are succeeding. Anyone average or below average gets overlooked.

Posted: January 24, 2019

Very disorganized and all over the place.

Posted: January 24, 2019

Some are great but the majority just don't seem to care.

Posted: January 24, 2019

It's all fake! They have the positive program that kids at this age just don't care about.

Posted: January 24, 2019

Posted: January 24, 2019

They will agree to an IEP but no teacher seems to take the time to really understand the individual needs of the students with learning difference. It's done "by the book" and not helpful

Teachers are disrespectful and dismissive of students needs. Rules are inconsistently enforced. Teachers have gossiped to their classes about students that were absent at the time. I felt unwelcome and uncomfortable in my classes. The work was fine, but a huge amount of it was simply busy-work.

First of all, the staff at Liberty are very unsatisfactory. Many of the students (Mostly girls) dress EXTREMELY inappropriately, and the dress code, from what I have seen, is rarely enforced. I ve seen students obviously using their cell phones, even some using them during class while their teacher is teaching a lesson, and while the teachers see this, they take no action against it. There is also a lot of inappropriate language happening in this school. Students curse, loudly, in the hallways, and yet administrators do nothing. There is a lot of bullying as well. My daughter comes home extremely upset, claiming that other kids make very rude comments and harass her. She says that they do it obviously, and it seems as if the teachers see, but nothing is done. From what I ve seen, students are very obnoxious, and administrators don t care. The school is not very clean, either. Don t even get me started on the cafeteria And the hallways are crowded, and I have noticed a few times, that they smell like smoke. I think I will find a private school for my 7th grade daughter, instead of attending 8th grade at Liberty next year.

My son (7th grade) is not challenged much in his classes, due to busy-work. The work they do can be somewhat objectionable, too. In history, the teaching tend to be bias and one-sided. In english, there is minimal challenge and loads of busy-work. Math varies from unit to unit, sometimes moving too quickly, making it hard to keep up, yet other times, extremely slow and too easy. Science is the only class where I feel like they move at an acceptable pace and learn age-level work. Teachers give away detentions (Lunch and after-school) very easily, and hold students after school easily. One time, my son had an appointment directly after school on a day the teachers made him stay after. When he told them that he has plans, they didn t believe him, and I had to drive up there and pick him up. Needless to say, we were late for the appointment, because the teachers have no respect for the students. I got no apology.
