Lincolnia academy is excellent center. My baby was there for 3 years he receive excellent care . Thank you to Lincolnia academy and the director and the staff . I will always recommend Lincolnia academy , thank you to be there ..

My son has been at this school since he is 4 months old. He has always been taken care of and I am constantly impressed by how much he is learning. I do agree that the school needs to get the parents more involved and get a website but otherwise I am thankful to the school and the teachers for taking care of my son when I have to work.

I concur with the review posted 3/19/08. It's obvious that the unfortunate "reviews" unfairly and inexplicably aimed at the director of the facility were posted by the same grammatically challenged commentator. In my own experience, the administrator's concern for the safety, education,and well being of the children is nothing short of exemplary. The director may not be dripping in marmalade, but she's likable enough (in a Hillary Clinton sort of way); and, more importantly, the facilities are exceptionally clean, the staff are competent, the children are happy and well cared for, there is an unmistakable emphasis on good manners and early education, and the environment is safe. At the end of the day, that's what's important to me as a parent, and I respect the director for her attention to detail and commitment to the care of the kids. I don't need a big hug and a lot of teeth from the head of the school when I pick up my kid--the lady is a consummate professional and obviously knows how to run a top area school. I would suggest that people go have a look-see and draw their own conclusions. Your kids will be happy and you will have have peace of mind.

I absolutely agree on that! I got a lot of hard time from Ms. Rasheeda too, very disrespectful and "always right". It is unfortunate becasue the teachers are so super nice and really care for the children. Ms.Diana in particular is great. All in all, I think the center isn't bad; it's only the parents who get a hard time from the director, not the children who seem to be pretty happy there.

I'm happy about everything at this school except for: the Executive Director, Ms. Rasheeda who is a VERY rude, disrespectful person. On numerous occasions she has criticized me as a mother and she's very aggressive standing about 5 inches from my face while she complains that my techniques are wrong. Thank God I no longer have to deal with her. Th parental involvement is VERY low...because if Rasheeda hears you give a suggestion, she CONFRONTS you about it and tells you you're wrong. Hmm, it's MY kid, so follow MY directions! The only other minor complaint is...there's just not enough to do there for the kids. When I used to pick up my son, I'd see him just sitting around or in the playpen. The downstairs area barely has any toys. All they need to do is get some toys and get ride of Ms. Rasheeda.

worst experience ever! the teachers hit kids, the director/owner is a very disrespectful, and mean women. my kids went there for a little while and they hate the place. no parent involvement whats so ever. horrible horrible!! i wouldn't recommended it to anyone
