There is almost no homework. They send the kids home with fun projects like Pete the Cat journal entries.

We have a child with some behavioral issues. The teachers handled him easily and used a gentle approach.

My son attends Kindergarten at GCLC. He has a pretty strong case of impulsivity, so we struggled to find the right fit for him. After a horrible preschool experience we were blessed to find GCLC. Here we have found the patience, sensitivity, understanding and knowledge my son needed to strive. He now enjoys school. The teaching is excellent in itself. While my son is reading on his own, my friends son who attends Kindergarten at a public school is struggling with the basics such as I, am, it etc. They go above and beyond, I can feel comfortable knowing my son is learning and being cared for as well.

Wonderful school...my son's birthday falls in August and I was worried about him being ready academically as well as socially for Kindergarten since he will be one of the younger kids in his class...I was lucky to get him into the Jr. K class at GCLC and now not only is he prepared for kindergarten next year...I am certain he will excel next year also. When he is not feeling well and I keep him home...it's as though I just punished him...he hates missing a day. The teachers are great and loving...I feel very comfortable sending my child there so much so that I've enrolled my daughter in the pre school.
