We have had a very good experience in our now four years with AMH (Hippo House). The teachers are very good, and our child has flourished in the montessori environment. The school is generally very well run, and parents have opportunities to get involved (and many do). It is truly a "children's house", where the children are fully supported and allowed to develop socially, academically, physically, and emotionally. In the words of my child, "it's great!" Prospective parents should be aware that this is an "AMI" montessori school and follows montessori principles quite strictly. Educate yourself and make sure this is the right choice for your family. Every child can flourish in the environment; it is probably more important for parents to understand what it is, and what it isn't.
