There seems to be less homework than the bigger high schools. Students are told project based learning means they need less repetition to retain the material. CC Support period allows time during the day to catch up on work, meet with teachers, and start homework.

Teachers have been great so far, very invested in the success of students. Small class sizes help.

Very diverse and inclusive school, which improves world view and empathy in students. Tends to attract non-confirming kids, but mainstream kids have no issue making friends too.

My son is receiving an excellent education at Arlington Tech in the Career Center. He struggled in middle school but is thriving here with the hands-on instruction and project-based learning.

I was a student at the Career Center 15 years ago. I had a unique hands on experience in the Animal Science classes. I truly enjoyed every part of it and I look back fondly on that time. I have some wonderful stories to tell my own children about my experiences with the wide variety of animals.
