Walker Grant hasnt changed at all. I thought that maybe because they got a new building things would improve but no I was very wrong. Everything has just gotten worse and the teachers couldnt care less about the kids well being! My child got bullied very badly during her years at this school and principal Ventura did nothing about it and told my kid to grow up and maybe if she wasnt so different then she could make friends. Safe yourself and dont go to this school!!

We tried to get excited about sending our children to Walker-Grant, but it has turned into a nightmare. The administration is inept at best. The new principal is condescending and just looking to climb the education profession ladder. Bullying, fighting, and discrimination run rampant and unchecked. Teachers are passive-aggressive and uninterested in providing an appropriate environment for students to learn in. Student behavior goes unchecked and unpoliced. Walker-Grant is the worst of what Fred City Schools has to offer and is a direct reflection of what is happening at the district level. The goal of this district and school is not to educate children safely, its to limit liability of running a disaster of an educational institution. If your child makes it out of Walker-Grant without PTSD, self-esteem issues, and/ or failing grades, consider yourself lucky. Our goal became to just survive each day until we could send our children to private school or move out of this district. If I could give zero stars, I would.

A Horrible school I'm a 8th grader this year (not saying who) but this school is HORRIBLE. The students are bad and no one does anything! this school gets fight is so often! Most are these teachers are horrible there are only some good ones ex: Ms black Ms Bailey they are wonderful teachers and make the subject fun! But the admins are horrible most teachers are rude or don't care about anything. I remember in 6th grade for me 2021-2022 year was horrible. Fights everyday prob around 8!!!!!!! It's a horrible school DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE.

Terrible food, the mashed potatoes are as hard as rocks. The school is understaffed and most of the staff here is terrible. Many teachers have been fired for many reasons, a popular one is hitting or getting in fights with students. But not all teachers are fired, some quit too. I am in 8th grade now, but last year(2021-2022 school year) there we're probably at least 5 fights a day, no exaggeration, that may even be an understatement. there were many occasions where the police had to be called. not just for fights but also weapons, drugs and vapes. there was also a situation here and the high school, there were 4 bomb threats and the suspects who wrote it, some of the overdosed. also since he was my friend im not gonna talk much abt it, but, he brought a gun to school last year. he's a good person but he just makes bad decisions. Also the grades are terrible, a schools overall grades are rated 1-10, are school is a 1, literally. the schools highest grade average is a 61% which is a D-, just before an F. our lowest is a 50% and the only reason ots not lower is because the school policy says you cant get lower than a 50%. si even if you only get 1 question right out of 10, it will count as a 50% in the grade book.

My son is getting bullied and he tells the teacher and they do nothing. I have been trying to get a meeting with the principal last 3 months and nothing.

They are horrible. Out of 6 or 7 teacher he has I've spoke with only 2 of them seems to care.
