We have been at the school for 6 years, and we couldn't be more grateful for RMS. Every day we thank God for the wonderful staff who help us to form our children in love for Jesus, love of learning, and in so many of the skills they will need in life. They learn how to give and take with others (no screens to take away from peer interactions!), how to advocate for themselves, how to choose and persevere in meaningful work, how to contribute to a community, etc. Children and adults alike are consistently treated with respect. As parents, we are very much valued partners in this educational endeavor. Our children are happy to go to school each day, and we're happy knowing they are in excellent hands.

So thankful to have found such a gem. RMS is absolutely awesome. The environment is enriched with love. Every classroom has the tools for every child to succeed. The staff is absolutely top tier! Everyone is perfessional but also approachable, caring, and knowledgeable. Every day I pull up to the doors to drop my daughter off it feels like family. I’m beyond thankful.

We couldn't be happier with our choice to send our kids to RMS. The staff is not only knowledgeable, but they genuinely care about the students and the work they are doing. My children love going to school and I am constantly impressed with their growth in all areas!

Our children have been attending RMS since fall 2020. They have been in both the Children's House and Elementary. As an educator myself, I was looking for a school that focused on my children's entire growth -- social, emotional, educational, and even spiritual. RMS has never disappointed. The guides and assistants are incredible. They feel like an extension of our family. We wept when our children moved from Children's House to Elementary from joy, pride, and even a bit of sadness since we knew we'd leave that environment. We are so grateful to have found RMS and will continue here until our children age out.

I am so happy with this school! My son started when he was four years old and now, four years later he is still excited to go to school everyday! The teachers and staff are the best part. They are full of joy and love their work with the children.

Our children have been attending RMS for the last 5 years. We really appreciate an authentic Montessori approach. Our kids are happy. They like school. When conflicts or struggles arise, they are handled alongside empathetic teachers and staff who take time to look at the whole picture of who the child is and prioritize the longterm formation of the child.

I haven't heard of any bullying at this school. I do know that the teachers assist the children in problem solving and also do role playing to help the children understand different situations.

I completely agree with the no homework idea. Children are at school for 7 hours during the day, it's nice to see schools encourage and foster family quality time and relationships.

All teachers are well trained in the Montessori method but that is just education. Each of the teachers in this school is obviously cut out to teach. They are caring,warm,patient and truly care about the development of the whole child

This Montessori school is a hidden gem in Prince William County. Our son is in the primary program and LOVES school. The teachers and administration are caring. The parent community is out going and very welcoming. There are so many ways to get involved. Every staff member knows every child's name. The environments are impressive. Hard to believe this facility was a public school just a few years ago. I encourage anyone reading this and considering this unequalled educational opportunity for their child/children to call and make an appointment to see this amazing school.

I am new to the Montessori method but I am intrigued at how well my children are learning and most of all their love for learning at this school. You can tell the teachers genuinely love the children and are very in tune with each child's individual needs. I am very impressed by the overall mission of the school and everything it has to offer. I feel very blessed to be able to send my children here!

The entire staff at RMS care for each child in such an individual manner I've never seen in a school. I absolutely love having my kids ages 18 months to seven there!

I have two children at this school and we just re-enrolled in our second year there. It is a true, authentic Montessori school. The staff has always been welcoming and kind, and the "teachers" (directressess) are exceptional. The school follows the Montessori method and approach to education very closely. Parents are invited to come observe the classroom at any time with given notice, and during my observations, the classroom was always quiet and organized, with children working independently, in small groups, or doing a lesson with the directress. The children are considerate of one another and are respectful of the materials. We are excited to begin another year at the school and look forward to many more years at Renaissance.

The toddler directress has the patience and soft guidance that enables her to manage a room of 1 and 2 year olds without anyone becoming worked up. She truly seems to be a "toddler whisperer" and my child loves seeing her.

The same can be said for the primary directress in my other child's class. She gets to know each child individually and assesses their needs and abilities and is able to focus on the best way to reach that child. She is very patient and kind, open with parents, and always willing to make time to discuss my child's growth.

Literally the best early childhood education in the Manassas area. The teachers, staff and families all provide a community full of enrichment and great development. We have been attending RMS for 5 years and I have three children there...wouldn't think of sending them anywhere but here!
