Its very simple, we couldnt image sending our children anywhere else. We are confident the staff is fully committed to providing our children with the most firm foundation possible in faith, education, and character possible.

Our twin daughters have attended FCS since preschool and will attend the FCS middle school next year. We are so happy with how they have grown and matured over the last 7 years at FCS. We know that they are being loved and taught the same things that we teach at home. WE LOVE FCS!

Love this school! We have had our kids here for 9 years and they all started in Pre School! Couldn't be happier!

Administrative staff hostile and display non-Christian like behavior. Chapel and Bible lessons were sporadic and inconsistent. The feel of the school was more social club than Christian education. Curriculum much less challenging than public school.

FCS fell below our expectation for a private school but do believe it is a good school, it just isn't for us. Our child attended 4 years before we opted to pull them - we exhausted all attempts to remedy concerns prior to removing them. Positives: Kind parents and children; FCS is a community and is welcoming of outsiders; teachers are caring and give 110% effort. Negatives: Strict model of behavioral expectation; very little positive encouragement, mostly punitive, reactive measures; teachers have limited resources; no guidance counselor. I encourage you to visit FCS (and other competing private schools in the area) before you form your own opinion. When you visit, ask, can I really see my child succeeding in this environment? Will my child be happy here? If the answer is yes, then FCS is for you. I encourage you to visit competing schools in the area (Fred Academy, Lighthouse) and do not be intimidated by their cost. Other schools have amazing financial aid packages. FCS offers very little in the way of aid. Our child now attends a competing school and we have NEVER been happier. We are grateful for the time spent at FCS but again, just wasn't for us.

We love Fredericksburg Christian School. Our daughter has gone there since preschool. The education she has been receiving is far more comprehensive than her friends and same age family members that go to other schools. Each school is like a glove you have to find the right fit. We have found our right fit

Our three sons have attended FCS for 13 years now. From Pre-K to High School, our oldest is now a Senior! Through character building and Christ-centered teaching, FCS has helped equip him to 'face the real world' as he transitions on to college. We are proud of FCS for their loving atmosphere, reputation, and keeping prayer in the school! We are confident the right choice has been made by placing our children at FCS. We look forward to watching their future unfold with this solid foundation.

Both my daughter and my son are now in their second year at FCS and we couldn't be happier. The pre-school program is incredible, teaching Christian values, manners, and amazing academics. Likewise, the Kindergarten year was transformative, with teachers who really love and care for the kids. We plan to keep our kids in this school through high school graduation. It will give them a foundation for life, not just academically, but spiritually as well. We are so thankful that we found this school and will support it any way we can.

My daughter will be headed to the 7th grade in the Fall and has been with FCS since Kindergarten. We couldn't be more pleased with the school. The academics are strong and the teachers are loving. Is it perfect, NO, but what school is? The difference is the teachers can actually mentor the children and guide them on the right path. Their SAT scores are higher than the national and state average and I look forward to six more successful years at FCS with my daughter being highly prepared for college and the world! God Bless FCS!

Our family couldn't be happier after completing our first year at FCS. After being at a different local private Christian school with two children from preschool through first grade, we knew we needed a forever school for our children. A school that taught them strong biblical foundations in a loving and nurturing environment! After our tour, we just knew this was the school for us! The administration is phenomenal and the teachers are even better!! The academics were advanced and the school encouraged and relies heavily on parent volunteers, so I witnessed, first hand, how happy my children were this year!

I could not ask for a better school for my kids. The teachers are excellent, the staff is friendly and my kids are getting a great education. The main reason we chose FCS was for the Christian aspect, we wanted our kids to be taught at school what we are teaching at home and they do that day in and day out.

FCS is a first rate school. We are so blessed by everyone at FCS. We could not ask for more from our son's educators and leaders. I would recommend Fredericksburg Christian to anyone interested in a quality, Christ-centered education.

Our family loves FCS and couldn't be happier! The teachers and staff are wonderful to work with and really love the children and their job! We pray we can send all of our children to FCS PreK-12th grade! I am an alumni and had a wonderful experience as a student and was well prepared for college. Love the Biblical foundation they are continuing that we are working on in our home. So awesome to know our children are taken care of when they are not with us and to know they are hearing and learning Truth!

My 5 children all attended FCS. All the staff (teachers, bus drivers, janitors etc) were considerate and caring - 2 of our children needed special attention in various ways and the school worked hard to accommodate them, until it was clear that one of them just needed more intense focused teaching.

We count FCS as one of our family's greatest blessings. We will have 3 children there this Fall. My oldest start out at public school for kindergarten, and was in tears daily about getting to school. He'd start complaining of belly aches the night before. He was just so unhappy. We switched over to FCS, and he now asks to get to school early! We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it! The love the faculty and staff show the students is just amazing!

We at FCS are keenly aware of a significant dynamic at work in our culture today...and it comes clearly into focus when we view our world and culture through a truly Biblical perspective. That dynamic is the dire need we have for strong leaders with great skill, intelligence, integrity, and sensitivity. I can tell you today that for over three decades at FCS (our legacy of leadership began when Gary and Andra Foss, started FCS in 1979) we have been producing those skilled, intelligent, honest, sensitive leaders. God has placed in our hands the tools of excellent college-preparatory academics; instructors and mentors who are both capable and dedicated; an environment from which to unashamedly and powerfully proclaim the Truth; facilities that enable us to offer outstanding educational, fine arts, and athletic opportunities; and a strong commitment to growing world-class, culture-changing leaders. If you are viewing this website for the first time and are not already a part of the FCS family, I invite you to explore the possibilities. Do not miss the great privilege of sharing what is happening at our school. Enroll your student, volunteer, or become a financial partner with Fredericksburg Christian Schools where children are becoming outstanding Christian leaders...for life.

What a difference! Two of three of our children went to public school, then we enrolled our third in FCS, and WHAT A DIFFERENCE! Godly, loving teachers, strong academics, many leadership opportunities and God confidence instilled in students which gives them the ability to do great things for the Lord.
