The entire school system is a failure and continues to disappoint parents and students. There are no ap classes. Teachers are scarce. There are some that try but are left without support and then leave Issues are never ending. Special education students are not properly supported especially at the elementary levels. They have no support for parents at all. Run away unless you want to deal with stress and issues daily.

This school needs a change. The school is low on teachers and kids do a lot of classes online. Kids are not learning anything with online classes and have to cheat on everything. There is a very big drug and vape problem here too. Please do not send your kids here.

Wow! I went there back in 1993-1995 and it looks like it has tanked since then. The education was horrible, only a couple good teachers, football was the main focus, bullying, poor parenting, administration didnt care and quality of education was awful. My parents took me out and sent me to St. Margarets where the education and teachers were excellent. An A at Essex was like getting a C at St. Margarets. Thats how bad it was and it seems nothing has changed. Very sad.

"I have deep concerns about the state of our school. It's disheartening to witness the presence of drug use, vaping, and a lack of accountability among some teachers and administrators. As a parent, it pains me to see fellow parents opting to transport their children to schools in other districts due to these issues. I would not recommend this school at all worse school Ive seen and we have been to 6 in bad areas . Not to the racism in this behind the times area.how

This school needs to be shut down! No one there knows what they're doing and the kids are not learning. Just take a look at the school board. If you live in this area DO NOT send your kid(s) here, they will not teach your kids to the fullest potential.

This High School is beyond GREAT the teachers are concerned about the students learning and their grades, also when you ask for a call back youget a call back as soon as possible this is very rare at some schools. I'm very happy that my son attends ESSEX HIGH SCHOOL.

I was once a student at EHS things werent always so easy. Now that my daughter is attending I see a change in the school system. I appreciate the teachers and staff that go over and beyond to help our children achieve their educational goals they have set. Also I would like to thank the principles, and guidance counselors as well who make the sacrifices to ensure the needs of the students are meet, but also are the voices for the students. Thank you for all your doing to help brighten the future of our children.
