Happy Hours Child Care Center

My son attended Happy Hours Daycare since he was 9 mos. old -- he is now 5 yrs. old. I truly can't say enough great things about this place. Yes, the center is on the smaller side but the teachers and the Director definitely make up for it. The Director is warm, organized, professional and extremely patient. Due to a new job/commute last year, I ended up having to put my son in a new daycare in Centreville. A larger center with curb appeal and a good online reputation. However, a terrible experience for my son. After 8 mos. I pulled him from that center and re-enrolled him at Happy Hours. Best decision ever! And he got to participate in their top-notch summer program (themed weeks, water fun, magician, fabulous arts & crafts, etc.) before starting Kindergarten. I would highly recommend this daycare to anyone!

My son has been attending their summer program for the third straight year and he is always so excited and happy to go! The director is patient and organized and the teachers are super nice! The classrooms are always well ran and my son has never complained about being bullied (in these times that is on the importance list for us). I highly recommend this school!

Our daughter has been at Happy Hours Daycare for a year and a half now and we LOVE it. They provide her with a safe, loving and nurturing environment. She is 19 months and they do a great job of helping her expand her motor skills. They provide well balanced meals too. We love all the teachers - highly recommend!!

Our son has been attending Happy Hours Child Care Center for years and we have been very happy with this daycare. The owners and staff are extremely attentive and clearly care about the children. Our son is happy there, likes the staff, and has made good friends with the other kids. Note that Happy Hours, despite being listed on greatschools, isn't a school. However, there are lots of books, games, and educational toys to play with and the staff will help ensure that children do their homework (if this is what parents want). We love it!

My son has been in this school for the past 3 years, coming from a private home daycare at 2.5 yrs old, this was a great stepping stone into elementary school-they have great structured day and Catered HOT LUNCHES included in the weekly fee :))....I feel that the 'family of staff' are friendly nurturing and genuinly care about the children. My son was loved and very well cared for by all the staff, they provided the care I needed with the feel of a 'home-environment' ..... the classes were small and the staff had a very low turnover (which speaks volumes in a daycare environment (-if the staff is happy usually so are the kids -vice versa-) they showed my son affection in the form of "HUGS and HIGH FIVES" they were excited about his acheivements and encouraged him to grow daily. The friends he made there taught him how to take turns and show empathy. Although disappointing, I'm surprised at the bad reviews...I couldn't be happier with the past 3 years of care they provided and we will miss them as they became an extention of our family. Happy Hours is a Happy Place!

Not too happy with this daycare, my kids became very upset with the staff/arrangement that they were in. It appeared too crammed and not the cleanest place.I pretty much gave up on trying to communicate with the caregivers because very little English was spoken. I felt my kids needed to be in more appropriate environment.

ajor upset.... my children were not happy here, every time I entered this unkempt place it reeked. My children cried every morning I drove them to this place. my son fell a lot, on the steep steps that lead to the small little basement, and I never received an incident report nor a phone call about my son's status. we quickly left this place and are in a much better environment now

My child was not thriving at this place. Too small with too many kids! Seems my child got sick a lot here, didn't surprise me with how small it is. Not too clean either, notice some bugs on the wall several times. My child was there breifly (fortunately) and is now attending a child care center that's a much more suitable environment and loves it there! Hasn't been sick once!

I wouldn't call this place a Daycare. My kids were absolutely traumatized by this place for muliple reasons. Also, My kids never learned one thing while they were there either, not a place that your kids will learn either. One day my daughter fell as busted her lip and I never got a call or incident report. :(

All three of my children went to happy hours. My youngest actually started at 2 months old and she is now in 3rd grade. The teachers are very warm and polite and love the kids. I have no complaints. My oldest is now in middle school and she loves to visit now and then. Would recommend this school to everyone, it has the family feel in that its not HUGE where class rooms have 20 kids in there and no matter how many teachers you put its just too big. Anywho...love happy hours.

Awful..... Due to being a military family, my kids have been in 3 days cares and ready and this place is by far the worst place we've seen. After a month, we finally found a much more suitable environment for our kids and they are MUCH HAPPIER!!!

Environment is too small, kids are crammed into itty bitty rooms. Not too clean and if 1 kid gets sick, the entire daycare comes down with a bug. I would describe this place as a little germ incubator. My daughter was here for a long 8 months!! I agree with others that there is very poor communication. Thumbs down!

Both my children attend Happy Hours daycare. I have only rave reviews. They are all very nice and take great care of my kids. I would highly recommend to anyone!!!
