Some of the teachers are wonderful, but a lot arent helpful in class at all. Fights happened often, drama is exhausting. Students are smoking in the bathrooms hourly. Its very difficult to learn in many of the classrooms . And lastly lots of teachers arent teaching the students. For example my Spanish teacher gives us work that isnt helpful to remember. He puts little to no effort in his teaching.

best school ever, there are to many principals that keep the school going and is a good place to get ready for 10th grade

This school is a great opportunity for cultural integration....but, like all public schools it is underfunded...and has allot of poor families that struggle to put food on the table. So children do not always get encouragement to complete education. Overall, my daughter got a full scholarship, as well as many of her friends who got full scholarships to Duke, Yale, and other schools.

NON OF THE TEACHERS ARE PROFESSIONAL. THEY HAVE MORE PRINCIPALS THAN STUDENTS. EVERYONE IS IN CHARGE. GET RID OF ALL THE STAFF AND START OVER TO IMPROVE THIS SCHOOL.

I would not recommend this school to any parent who has a special needs child. We had several issues with our child in the home but the school was only concerned that our child didn't present a problem at school. Unfortunately what did happen or did not happen at school carried over into our home. It took until about the end of the school year for me to find a Dr. Walsh who tried to intervene on our behalf. It was too little too late.
