We are so grateful for FCMS. When our son first started, drop-offs were tough (he cried a lot, and it broke our hearts). But the teachers were incredibly patient and loving. They guided us through the Montessori process, explained everything, and supported Lucas every step of the way.

Now he loves going to school. He walks in happy and confident, and weve seen him grow so much in his independence and curiosity.

What we love the most is how welcome we always feel. FCMS truly feels like a family (warm, kind, and genuinely invested in the kids).

We couldnt be happier. Highly recommended for anyone considering a Montessori School.

Full Circle Montessori has been a wonderful experience for my daughter and us. Since she started, not only has she learned great manners and become more independent, but she also eagerly anticipates school every day. This is thanks to the welcoming atmosphere, dedicated guides, and wonderful friends she has made. As a parent, I feel confident knowing she is well-cared.

The school follows a traditional Montessori pedagogy and the teachers and staff are well connected to enable the children's wellbeing from a 360 perspective. We appreciate the parent / classes and guidelines /tips shared throughout the year to enable caregivers to be on the same page with the school in terms of development and support. The teachers /guides are sincerely invested in the children and it shows. Our only wish were that the school offered extended times and fewer days off - as the number of school closings is difficult to manage around for working parents.

My son attended Full Circle Montessori School (FCMS) from age 3 to 11. Our original plan was to put him in public school by the 1st grade. However, we were so taken by the education he received at FCMS that we decided to keep him there. By the time he was 6 we realized that he had a couple of learning differences. We worked closely with the school and special educators to get him the attention he needed. FCMS created an environment where our son thrived. Here are some of the other reasons why we kept him there:
* Public speaking skills (our son credits his comfort in front of an audience to all his projects/presentations at FCMS)
* Hands-on learning
* Group learning
* The emphasis they put on play/recess time
* Social expectations (for example every morning they had to line up and talk one-on-one with their Directress, teaching responsibility, respect, patience etc)
And to top it off FCMS was one of the most economical Montessori schools out there. Plus they work hard to raise money to provide scholarships for students in need.

I am absolutely thrilled with the care and education my toddler has received at FCMS. The staff is warm, attentive, and go above and beyond to create a nurturing environment that makes my child feel safe and loved. The curriculum is engaging and age-appropriate, with plenty of opportunities for play-based learning and exploration. I've seen tremendous growth in my child's social, emotional, and cognitive development since they started attending. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and provides a stimulating atmosphere that fosters curiosity and creativity. Communication with the teachers and administration is excellent, and I always feel informed about my child's daily activities and progress. I couldn't be happier with our experience at FCMS and highly recommend it to other families seeking a top-notch early childhood education!

As a parent of two children who attended Full Circle Montessori School, I am incredibly grateful for the outstanding education and nurturing environment this institution has provided for my kids. Over the past 5 years for my son and 2 years for my daughter, I have seen them blossom into well-rounded individuals, which I believe is largely due to the exceptional dedication of the school and its staff.

From day one, the Full Circle Montessori School (FCMS) has placed emphasis on the unique strengths and abilities of each child. Their approach to education focuses on individual growth and development, helping my children build strong foundations in academic, social, and emotional skills. Full Circle Montessori School (FCMS) is a terrific opportunity for toddlers and adolescents! The methods and curriculum are very clear and reasonable. The child begins with 'Work of the Home' which provisions typical tasks found around the house. As the child matures, so does the complexity of tasks that are available. Gradually, this evolves into interesting approaches to math, language, and many other subjects. Exceptionally, all of this is self-guided by the child.

My wife and I immediately reaped the benefits of this careful instructional style. The teachers were a tremendous help in potty-training, learning to clean-up after play, and many other tedious but important tasks that must be slowly learned. After years, our child has an incredible independence in his outlook on life. He gained confidence through the many tasks that the children learn to master, and he puts those same skills to use when helping with family chores.

FCMS seems to stay pure to the Montessori values and methodology. Though I did not have any previous experience with Montessori, I am now in agreement with their philosophy. I firmly believe my child's strength of character, now 6 years old, is the result of FCMS's excellent organization and instruction.

The Full Circle Montessori School's playroom is a haven of peace and learning for parents and their young children. Every visit feels like a gift, thanks to the caring and knowledgeable teachers, Britney and Kate, who always make time to interact with each child and provide guidance to their parents. I have had the pleasure of visiting this playroom with my 11-month-old son, Leon, since he was just six months old, and every time we leave, we feel enriched and inspired.

What makes this playroom so special is its attention to detail. The space is beautifully designed, with natural light, soft colors, and carefully curated Montessori-inspired toys and materials that are both stimulating and calming. But what really sets this playroom apart is the dedication of the staff. Britney and Kate are both knowledgeable and patient, always taking the time to observe each child and provide guidance to their parents on how to support their development. Their calm and gracious demeanor is infectious, and watching them interact with Leon has been a true joy.

During our visits, we have witnessed Leon grow and develop by leaps and bounds. His skills have improved with every visit, and his love for learning has flourished. One visit in particular stands out, when at just nine months old, Leon's walking with a walker took off after spending time in the playroom. Another time, he discovered a love of metal sounds and plants, sparking a newfound curiosity and appreciation for the world around him.

But it's not just the learning and growth that makes this playroom so special. It's the sense of community and support that permeates every interaction. The teachers and administrators all take the time to stop by and say hello, making us feel valued and cared for. It was this sense of care and attention that ultimately led us to enroll Leon in the school, and we couldn't be happier with our decision.

My husband and I did a research on the Montessori and private schools near by. We choose FCMS because they offer best learning and exploring opportunities, warm and caring staff and clean environment. My daughter is very and excited to go to school every morning. Her face lights up every time she speaks about her teachers and classmates. I get lots of compliments from family and friends about my daughters character, she is a very independent, very outspoken and very smart little girl. Thank you FCMS for the outstanding service. I highly recommend FCMS.

FCMS has been a God Send since we first met over 2 months ago. As fairly new parents to the schooling system in Northern VA area we honestly believe we have 'finally' found a school and program that is in the Best interest of our Family. The entire staff is devoted to providing the full Montessori experience from the morning greeting to the afternoon pickup time. For the 1st time our Son actually talks about 'school' and 'wants' to go - Like Every Day. (From our previous experiences this is short of a Miracle.) So Thank You FC for giving our Family the opportunity to be part of your community.

Beyond the regular curriculum, Stephanie Kurnava (our daughter's teacher) ran a "Parenting Project" for a group of us in the evenings. As a parent, I was struggling: If my kid is so good at school, how come she's such a rascal at home? What am I doing wrong? No one understands what it is really like! -- Wrong!!! Being part of the "Parenting Project" allowed me not only to see that what I'm dealing with is common and vent with other parents, but it is also showed me how important and natural this is. It equipped me with some tools to cope with these challenges and actually enjoy them.

Both my kids attend and we couldn't be happier. Not only are the kids excited to go to school, but we as a family feel that Montessori has made such a positive difference in our lives.

When we begin looking into public schools for first grade, we were not considering Montessori at all. Our son had spent pre-school and kindergarten at another Montessori and I just decided to go to the Full Circle open house on a whim. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by how elementary class was conducted and the initiative shown by the kids. That's when our relationship with Full Circle began.

After the observation day, the administration team and especially Christie Yang really spent a lot of time and effort answering our questions and addressing our concerns. She was following our thought process very closely and put us in touch with the parents to help clarify our values when it came to education for our son. This was close to the beginning of summer and with all the chaos, we were very impressed with how good the administration was in following-up and we thought that if this is the care and professionalism they show to kids education, then chances are our son would be in the right place.

Since our son has begun at Full Circle, we have been extremely happy. It's a unique environment where we also feel like we are going through our education again, but with a different perspective. It's very positive and while its pure Montessori, it's a very entrepreneurial environment where they try new things and adapt to kids educations needs. Its definitely not traditional and we put a lot of trust in the teachers but the entire group of elementary teachers is amazingly smart, positive and collaborative.

Our son has been so happy here and loves learning what he does, because it usually stems from his own interests. He loves his teachers and also the group of kids and parents are very easy going and nice. Even the entire administration is wonderful to work with. Overall, Full Circle has made our sons elementary education a very pleasant, rewarding, and fun experience.

We had a wonderful experience at Full Circle. Our child attended the school for three years while in primary school. It was because of our positive experience that we moved our other child from public school to Montessori school. We found the teachers to be truly exceptional. Our teacher was amazing.... patient, kind, loving, and creative. The administration is very organized and professional. The parent network is very strong and we developed close friendships over the years. Our child thrived at this school and has a true love of learning because of it. We highly recommend Full Circle.
