Both our kids were here, it was a terrible experience. This school, and Mr. O were the main contributors that we decided to pull them out and go elsewhere.

My kids Never got homework. While we heard other schools were giving their classes homework nightly, ours received zero.

There is not much homework for students in a day which is not right. At least, they can assign student to memorize the multiple table or spelling vocab

Not that good. It can be better if they know how to manage the school in the effective way. Comparing to Charle Barrette Elementary School, they know to manage the school. That why the school rate is way higher

George Mason has provided a wonderfully enriching environment for my 2 children. Both the teaching and support staff go out of their way to ensure every child is engaged, comfortable in their environment and having fun! We are proud to have George Mason as our neighborhood school!

Teaching staff at George Mason is outstanding! They are energetic and caring, but set high goals for all students. They work collaboratively with other staff and parents to make sure each child is successful at their level.

The Administration sets a tough but fair "be your best" guideline and rewards the students with fun activities after multiple weeks of adherence by the student body. Examples are a dance party and lunch on the lawn! Kids love it and strive to collectively achieve set goals.

No complaints! My son has had a wonderful experience as a Kindergartener at George Mason ES. He has a sense of belonging, loves his teachers and enjoyed going to school.

We have been a George Mason family for four years. The school is a wonderful, nurturing community with fantastic academics and a great support structure.

I have had three kids go through George Mason elementary school and I have not been disappointed by any teacher that my children have had through the years. The teachers are top notch and care about the kids. The parents in the community are very involved in the school. The principal is terrific. It is a tight knit community and my children have continued relationships with friends they made at GME through high school. These relationships are important.

George Mason provides a safe, nurturing, tolerant and stimulating environment for children of any temperament and background. The administrators, teachers, parent group and school counsellors work collaboratively to provide a strong sense of community and to instill core values such as honesty, respect, and motivation while providing a solid educational foundation for future advancement. It is not surprising that this year's Valedictorian and Salutorian at TC Williams High School are both George Mason graduates.

George Mason Elementary is a wonderful community school. My daughter is so happy there. The teachers are amazingly dedicated and the Principal has great ideas and an excellent communication style.

The teachers are wonderful, caring and provide a challenging atmosphere for learning. They are so engaged with the students and parents. Also, the parents in this community are very involved with both school activities and teachers, as well as their own children.

George Mason is the epitome of a community school. The parents are incredibly involved and the teachers and administrators truly care about the children. We have been very pleased with our 4 years at George Mason so far!

I have two daughters and both are attending George Mason Elementary School, third and fifth grade. We have been at the school since kindergarten and have enjoyed each year. The George Mason Elementary has been a wonderful community in which my girls can grow, learn and be themselves. We are thankful to have the wonderful teachers and administrators at GM elementary.

We've been with this school for 6 years and have 6 years left to go and have enjoyed an active PTA, a warm and welcoming community and teachers and staff who are responsive and caring. I feel our kids are being well-prepared with the foundations they need for future success.

I currently have three children at George Mason and couldn't be happier. The teachers and staff are all excellent and the parent community is very involved and welcoming. The school's music program has more students involved than our local high school!

My oldest son is about to enter second grade, and my youngest will soon starts kindergarten. We love George Mason, the staff are great, and students get music, art and gym every week. The playground is beautiful. For being so close to DC, the George Mason community has a small town feel. It's a great place to send your children to every day.
