An absolute nightmare that I could not awake from and that has left lasting scars. Just a horrible place.

Homework was inconsistent and lacked instruction. Teachers are just indifferent to the kids learning. Very ineffective.

Teachers are insufficient in terms of numbers, and in terms of ability, and simply do not genuinely care if students are learning. Teachers seem overwhelmed.

Developing strong character does not seem to be a major priority, if a priority at all. Its simply a place to warehouse kids and collected checks for the owners.

They can barely support kids without learning differences. So this should speak for their ability to work with kids who need some extra time and attention. Definitely not the place for that.

Not at all. Our child seemed to be bullied verbally and physically on a few times and the staff seemed indifferent or unable to deal with it. If they even cared.

My wife and I could not have been happier to have found The Nest Academy in Alexandria. We live in Old Town and have visited numerous number of pre-schools in the area and eventually decided to go with Nest Academy for several obvious reasons. First impressions were superb. The facilities by far the was cleanest, the staff were focused on the kids during our initial visit which tells us that they do the same when other prospective parents come and check out the school. Ms. Judy who runs this location is well organized and disciplined. We tried a couple of times to come and visit but the first time did not work because it was during the kids's nap time or break time. Again, this tells me how they value the kids's time in school and honor their commitment on taking care of our kids. Once my kids started school, I could see how we made the right choice. Ms Judy and other faculty members genuinely care about our kids and I can see how organize and discipline they are in taking care of our boys. Our 4-year old has special dietary needs due to his food allergies, and this school has gone out of their way to accommodate his special needs. The Nest Academy in Alexandria is a hidden gem.

The Nest Academy is a wonderful preschool with caring and attentive teachers. My children enjoy going there and they are well looked after. Thank you Nest Academy !

My son has been attending the Nest Academy preschool for 4 months now, and I'm more than happy with the results. He didn't speak English when he started, and he was shy with other kids because of that. He has changed so much, he is very social now, and trying to communicate as good as he can. He sings all the songs they learned at school all day long. And the other day he wanted to pretend to be one of his teachers and show me some learning cards :) I like the fact that the room where my son studies is very big and has a lot of natural light. The kids look happy and when I spoke to a few parents, they all said they are more than satisfied with the school.
