Working at William Monroe Middle School was a challenging experience. The school struggles with student behavior and low academic performance, and staff often feel unsupported. Administrative oversight leaned more toward micromanagement than meaningful support, and parent involvement was limited. These factors contribute to a high staff turnover. Overall, it was not a positive fit for me, and I would advise prospective employees to carefully consider before accepting a position.

Though there are ways to report bullying, the administration does nothing about it.

Absolutely awful. There are bullies and no one does anything about it.

Homework is extensive and not helping my child. It does not review what was learned in class, but makes my child teach himself.

Some are amazing, some are really bad.

Posted: April 16, 2018

The leaders and administration suck and don't do anything to help.

I'm a student at this school at the moment and it has made me and many others feel discouraged and dumb. This school seems to have funding for flat screen TVs, but no type of funding for the classes. The teachers are fantastic, but there is no true inspiration. Every class (including related arts) has worksheets, that then leaves the students/us with only 25 minutes of a "free time", which is lunch. This school had so much potential, but has lost so much of it now. As a student you shouldn't feel dumb, so before coming to this school as new student, review your other options first!
